new to farming

i made a monk recently and i m trying to learn how to farm. did alot of research still confused on how to do it right. because i get killed easily. i can deal with the melee builds but i dont know what to do when it comes to the casters. and again this is a monk build so please help me out i have 15 smite 15 prot 7 heal (kurz armor) staff (+10 energy) i want a build that can just make me solo in most places

You must not have searched well enough...there are many builds on soloing on monks..
