How did they do that?

Well, recently I got together the skills for a 55hp monk build, decided to go test it out first. So, I went to those caves near droks to test it on trolls, and it was all going fine, I made sure I always had my enchantments on, and then when they got to about 30% hp, somehow they hit through my enchants and I died.

Anyone know how this happened? And yes, I had protective spirit and shield of absorbtion on.

They use an interrupt, and chances are you didn't have Protective Spirit on because it was interrupted. If you can guarantee you DID have it on, then your Shield of Absorption ended, and you didn't notice it. If you had both of those skills up, they can't kill you, so you must not have noticed one of them was not up.

Ok, maybe it was interrupted, because I was killed in a split second after I cast it. Thanks for your help

On that farm, unless your computer is uber fast, it is best to be conservative with the timing of your skills so that you are sure you always have them up with a time to spare. Most 55 monks get good with practice. Since you are admitedly new to 55, I will tell you your frustration is very common, but you will get better at it.

Yeah... pretty much with every farming build out there, as soon as you make a mistake, you die instantly. So, when you are new to a build, it can take a while to figure out how you are screwing up.
