What's the best software for drawing on the PC?

Hey guys, so whats the best software? I really do not know where and who to ask so I'm just posting here okay.

please be more specific, i.e. what kind of drawing, how will you be drawing, what will it be used for, etc.

This ones pretty cool and doesn't even need installation, just use it in your browser. It has quite a few features from Photoshop, but is far less complete. Photoshop would be my choice. It's got excellent options to create your own brushes, for example.

I personally use Photoshop, its great, you can illegally download versions if you wish to go down that route. I will be watching this thread as im interested in other drawing software myself.

oh cool. GIMP looks very nice and worthwhile considering its free and pixlr is cute since its online. Photoshop is nice but what should I use if I go Photoshop? My friend has Photoshop Elements so is that the same thing? can you recommend a photoshop version since there are soooooo many? Thanx again peeps
