Character deleted but cant make new one with that same name...

Hey y'all

so i decided to make a new necro cuz necros just pwn pve
but i liked my old necro name so i deleted her, and made a new one on my other account cuz i dont like account switching

so i made a new necro with the name i just deleted on my other account and it keeps saying: the name is already in use!

so i was like

weird thing is I CAN make a necro with that name on the account where i deleted if from

anybody expierenced this b4? or has any ideas? maybe i gotta wait a few days?

The name is reserved for the account it was on for 1 hour before it is released for other accounts to use.

If you delete a character and use the same name on the same account, you don't have to wait at all. If you are trying to use the name on another account, you must wait at least an hour. This is to prevent other people from stealing a name from you.

a way to get around this is to create new chars to fill all the empty slots on the account you do not want the name on then just go to your main account and the name will be open to use

i've done this a couple times and it worked each time for me

I tried to make the character after about 10 hours but it didnt work!

i remake pvp chars with the same name all the time Savio is right. Have you checked to see if you have deleted your necro yet?

I see this is already resolved, but another potential reason could have been if the character name was registered at Tolkano, for Tournaments.
