This is something little I've made to make my own life just that little bit easier. It's a TexMod map modification of Dalada Uplands, showing pretty, colorful dots where locked chests could be.

Please PM me if you cannot, for any reason, download from Rapidshare and want me to upload it to a different hosting site.

To use this you need:
  • An utility to unpack zip files (google WinZip, WinRar, 7zip, ...)
  • TexMod (wiki it)
  • Knowledge of TexMod (wiki it)
  • A Guild Wars account with the Eye of the North expansion
  • A character who has made its way to Doomlore Shrine

This is probably far from complete, but you should still consider this a helpful guide.

Start in Doomlore Shrine (duh). Grab a couple of heroes and henchmen, and load them with skills such as "Charge!", "Fall Back!", Shields Up!, etc. Leave into Dalada Uplands and run your way along the dots. I prefer going east first, working my way trough the area in a clockwise circle.

A suggested route:

As you can see I did not pass all dots, but you can usually see from a slight distance whether there is a chest or not.

A run can be as short as 5 minutes, or as long as 20 minutes. It all depends on how lucky you are with the chest spawns, the running boosts you use, the route you take and of course, your survivability.
Each run will hold 5 chests, all spawning on or near a dot showing on your mission map.

So how do you run this area?
I STRONGLY suggest you take a primary/secondary Assassin for:
Shadow walk: to grab a chest placed in a nasty location. Use a cancel stance to return.
Deaths charge: to shadow step down from, or up to a ledge. Proves very useful on the beach near the scale monsters.
Heart of Shadow: Self-heal and useful for escaping charr mobs surrounding you.

Furthermore you need anti-knockdown because the scale monsters use water trident.

Example Warrior/Assassin build:
Strength: 12
Tactics: 8
Shadow Arts: 10
Template Code: [OQcTE5K+VK0pvC3BBizbugmcwCA]
[Shadow of Haste][Charging Strike][Death's Charge][Heart of Shadow] [Shadow Sanctuary][Balanced Stance]["I Am Unstoppable!"][Signet of Stamina]

Example Warrior/Paragon build to put on your heroes:

Strength: 9
Tactics: 12
Command: 12
Template Code:[OQkjElVsZOsld8c5tsVCADWBAA]
["Charge!"]["Fall Back!"][Balanced Stance][Shields Up!][Endure Pain][Healing Signet][Signet of Stamina][Resurrection Signet]

So far I haven't got anything really special. I always run in normal mode, and usually I get things like charr armor, solemn spears, crystal wands,...
Drops are quite similar to charr drops actually, but of course you don't get superb charr carvings.

I just prefer running this area because of the beatiful scenery. My two best runs so far were just over 5 minutes, and just under 7 minutes. For all 5 chest this comes down to 1 chest every one or two minutes, making it one of the better areas to get your treasure hunter title up.

Um... how about Hard mode at the station. You can run with NO armor and 2 run skills and get a chest in 2 minutes or less 90% of the time. then map back. In normal mode you get 1 chest 99% of the time and 2 chest 10% of the time in the same run!

Um if you really want to max out your lucky title just runt he fort ranik mission. RUN it!. Get your Ranger with dodge and the sin run skill with no attribute - 50% faster for 3 seconds.. hold down on alt as you run. There are two chests here in about 5 minutes to run the whole thing. I have an 87% chance to retain my pick.

I get either -

1) 500 luck points
2) 250 Lucky and 207 unlucky
3) 414 unlucky points

Drops are junk and I loose synergy with treasure hunter and no chance of a gold drop for wisdom but I can get 6,000 luck points an hour. Only take me 417 hours to max the title WOOT

I am currently at 400,000 Lucky points so I have only to open another 8,400 chests for max title or 4,200 more runs. Now with 87% retention rate that is 7,308 chests to open with lockpicks. at a small cost of only 9,135,000 gold for every pick at 1250 gold each.

This will take me a mere 350 hours to max the title. So at 3 hours a day every day for 4 months I will have achieved the MAX LUCKY TITLE WOOOOOOOOOT

I'm so leet....

Boreal station rocks,
I run avg1-3 chests, NM and get 3 drunk min in a (1.5 - 2) min run

I use
[Shadow Form][Dwarven Stability][Drunken Master] and various other skills for self heal or whatever.

Start outside of station, Drink lvl 5 alcohol,
1)Use Druken Master - You dont need the double bonus time for the stances from dwarven but you need it for the knockdowns from the aloes.
2)As soon as druken master recharges, use it again, it is your timer to know when to /resign.
3) the shadow form is for getting to the chests that spawn in the baddies (pinesols, and avalanche)

As soon as your second casting of Druken master has hit the 30 sec recharge mark you should be close to finishing the run and you can resign and receive the last 2 minutes of you drunk points.

I have done this for about 12 hours of game time and have received slightly less than double that for drunk time.

IGN ->Puddin Cheeks I'll show you my route if you have never done it. It really isnt complicated because you cant really go the wrong way.
