hi i got a really quick question
Im currently ranger at the moment, i am planning on subbing monk, but i was wondering, is there a way when you sub monk, if you can get "healing breeze" because thats the skill you get when you start out with monk, it is a very good skill IMO and i only want to sub monk if there is a way to obtain it
Is there a way i can get this?

You can get it from skill trainers later in the game. Just use troll unguent Its basically the same and not an enchantment that can be stripped. If you are playing pve let your monks heal you while you do damage. No need to bring it.

If its self healing you want, you could try Troll Unguent.
As for Healing Breeze, it can be purchased from a skill trainer npc such as Sir Bertran in Ascalon City.
Edit: oh snap

Just repetition for the sake of reinforcing the fact:
[[Healing Breeze @9] is NOT a good skill for a ranger, it requires investment into Healing Prayers, can be stripped and doesnt give as much regen as a 10 spec [[Troll Unguent @10].
If you do really really really want it, then yes, Bertram in Ascalon, hes your man.

I have a question. Is the OP in pre? If so then no you can't get it by going /mo. Only primary monks can get healing breeze in pre if I'm not mistaken. Even though I haven't been into pre in forever and a day.

I suspect the OP is still in pre-searing so let's cut him a little slack here.
Yes, you will be able to purchase healing breeze later, as well as every skill for every profession in whatever campaigns you own if you want to.
Once you take the quest (war preparations) that sends you through the academy a number of new options will open for you. You will be able to buy new skills at skill trainers, buy better armor (though you will go broke if you buy new armor at every opportunity) and you will have access to more storage.
Later in the game you will also be able to change your secondary profession to anything that is available in whatever campaigns you own.
However, once you have gone through the academy quest you will not be able to return to the area you are presently in and the skill healing breeze will not be available to a monk secondary until you have gone through the academy.
If you are still in pre, my suggestion would be to do as much as you can before taking the quest war preparations (your first time playing anyway) so that you get a good feel for the game.
Probably more info than you needed, but hope it helps.

Just FYI.
Each PIP of regen from Healing Breeze = 2hp per sec. So at +10 you're gaining 20hp per sec. If you're under fire from a group of enemies 20hp per sec will not save your life. It will only delay the inevitable, your death. You also have to consider that Expertise does not effect spells so Healing Breeze is still gonna cost you 10e.
A common argument is...
HB lasts 15-18 seconds (depending if you have 20% enchant mod) and it heals tons over time. This argument is utter failure. In the middle of a heated fight, you want to be healed NOW not 20hp/sec over a period of time. And some people go as far as dropping out of battle to wait it out, in which case you're just paper weight doing nothing and bringing nothing to the table to help your team during that time.
Any heal that heals "over time" is bad.
However I don't know where your character is so perhaps in the early stages of GW Healing Breeze is exceptable. But once you're out of newbiedom and facing stronger foes you'll soon realize how shitty HB is. I PuG once in awhile and 9/10 monks on my team who carry HB struggle with energy. HB costs too much and does very lil. You often have to follow up HB with another heal simply because HB's healing is slow.
Another common argument is....
I use HB to counter degen. Utter failure again. You can remove the threat to begin with. Ie..hex removal/condition removal. It'll probably cost you less and in some cases you may gain a benefit (Restore Conditions is a good example). Or even better yet, use a better heal and just heal through the degen. Degen just like regen caps at +10. So in essence if +10 of regen can't save your life, -10 degen won't kill you without some help.
Having said all this, this is all old news. Most decent players already know all this stuff. I'm just repeating a message that's been said a thousand times since the beginning of GW.
