this is a question.. but its partly about farming.. if it needs to be moved - my bad
[yes ive used the search function.. havent found anything, if it IS already on the forums point me in the right direction instead of locking please]
okay.. i was talking to some person helping me out.. and he said an easy run to farm and get some easy cash is ' sanctum cay ' , he then proceeded to give me a d/mo build for running it...[i only have nightfall and prophicies.. i havent looked into the skills to see if i can use them all]

mirage cloak, veil of thorns, armour of sanctity, shielding hands[monk], mystic regeneration, eternal aura, avatar of balthazar, balthazars spirit[monk]

now.. im alot confused on what he meant because he took off shortly after.
is this a mission or a quest i run? and what do i do on said run.. kill everything or [if its the mission] keep running the mission over and over again and killing everything there

You run the mission Sanctum Kay, which is the last mission in the Jungle (just before the Crystal Desert).

You run (no fighting) to the first cutscene, then run (no fighting) until the end, where you kill all the enemies without letting the npc die. Just try it out a few times.

Running people for missions is easy, but isn't that great for money.

There are much better Missions to run that take less time. Less time = more money.

sanctum cay isnt too bad for money, during peak hours i can get a full party paying 1k each pretty easily. as for the build, its the same one i use and My lipgloss is cool is right on how to use it EXCEPT you only tank the enemies at the end of the mission until the boat arrives then u jump on quick, and makes sure while you tank you keep enchants up and keep the vizier out of your aggro and the enemies your tanking.

A mission that takes 3 minutes to complete would make more money than a mission that takes 20 minutes to complete. Holding that the runees pay the same amount for both runs. 1k x 4 people =4k per 3 minutes or 80k per hour. 4k per 20 minutes is 12k per hour.

Therefore shorter mission make more money. Holding that the runees pay the same.

55 monk : A Time For Heroes as well. Short run (about 2-3 mins), and prices are 1k NM, 2kHM.

Perma SF, Derv (no idea on build) : Elona Reach. 1k-1.5k for NM, and 2k-3k HM.

I also use Perma-SF to run the bonus (or mission) in Sanctum Cay. But, and this is important - for the bonus, the runees need to die, or the spirit won't follow you. The mission is the same as in NM with a derv, but I consider it easier to do on a perma. Just sit in the middle so the incoming Mantle aggro you and don't go for the vizier. Don't hurt them, or they will try to kite, which might have disastrous results.

And of course, you can't run Mission+Bonus. Spirit is too slow, and the mantle take the dock before you get the bonus.

I was talking about Ruins of Morah. As others said ATFH and Elona Reach are both good, but most dont run Elona in HM, but it is easily henchable. If you wanted to make money on a long run I would suggest Gate of Madness.
