Anet you can't give power to the GW Population!

Remove the report function, it doesn't work at all. I'm seriously praying that the April update is going to remove it or something because it's terrible. There are people who admit to just reporting people for the fun of doing it, even on Guru. This has gone on long enough, I understand if you don't want to support an old game but the anwser isn't to give mod powers to everyone in the game!

Agreed, stupid people cannot have power, it just does not work.

Keep the penalty for leaving a match prematurely though.

How is this thread different from the others already opened about the report function in this forum?

Anyway, report may not be perfect, but sure it may prove useful from time to time against leechers.

You know what would be great? If people who hate on the report system a) had some examples of people who were actually disciplined due to some idiot randomly spamming /report, or b) came up with some kind of solution themselves. As far as I know, "a" has never happened, because /report is NOT insta-ban.

The only thing that needs to change with /report is making it easier for people to report leechers in PvP without fear of getting dishonor points themselves, and that would be done easily enough by letting us know when someone reports someone else so everyone can join in, or by having the report function for leeching bring up a voting box in the party window a la /votekick in CS:S.

Yeh theres a thread started like everyweek on this subject, and il say to you what i say to them all /notsigned untill something better comes along, it'd be nice if theyd actually read the names when a char has been reported for an offensive name...

Please search the forum before posting a thread to make sure the idea hasn't been covered before.
