Recover Banned Account

Hello everyone,
Before i start i am really sorry for my bad english.I Hope i am posting this in the right place. My account has got permanently terminated last night for botting or using any other third party programs. Yes, i did use a bot, though it was a handmade bot that gives commands to keyboard, so it didnt actually "farm".I have read the terms of agreement in guild wars website, i know bots or third party programs are not legal and i absolutely agree with that. However, my account did not get suspended before, this is the first time something like that happens so i wanted to ask if there is a way to recover my account, or suspend it for a set period of time.(like a month). I've read many other reports based on other people experience, and most of them have got warned before their account permanently terminated. Those who buy gold get warned aswell and their gold or items they purchased are removed after the suspension. It would be much better if anet could take all my gold and items,or even delete my characters,so i would understand my mistake and spend more time on reading the rules. Again, i do think my account has rightfully been suspended from guild wars service, but i do think it would be better if they could give me a warn of suspension for a set period of time. it kinda depends on the severity of your offense. if it somehow threatens the integrity of the game (this happening seems unlikely, lol), then ban is understandable. but i remember when the mass HFFF bots were all given suspensions. so if ur offense is relatively similar or minimal compared to that, then yes, u should have been given suspension instead of ourtight ban.

Botting is an instant permanent ban. No warning needed on this.

Bots are a plague. Ban is the only way to combat them.

Look at the bright side. You will be providing economic stimulus in purchasing a new account.

Don't bite off more than you can chew.
Don't bot, and your account will not get banned.

You knew botting wasn't allowed, and still you did it. Serves you right I think.

You will need to take that up with ArenaNet. This is not the right place to ask.

Yeah, I think these responses are all your going to get here.

You knew botting wasn't allowed, yet you decided to bot anyway. Thus you got banned. I think it ends here. Maybe other people got lucky, but it's silly to ask for a 'warning', as you clearly stated you knew you were in the wrong.

You can appeal your ban by sending a support ticket to ANet. This can be found on the support section of their site. The link is also in one of the Stickies I believe

i got perma banned for receiving items from an account that was hacked so yeah dont feel bad...sad thing is the account that actually hacked it didnt get banned

There is nothing any of us can do for you. Anet support is your only option.

So what exactly were you doing with your macro if not farming? If you send Anet a support ticket, they will investigate. But be aware, however, they are fairly strict with the application of their rules.

I wonder if any of the hundreds upon hundreds of kurziks who used macros to hfff outside lutgardis ever got banned.

It's nice to know bots are actually getting banned, I see the same ones quite frequently and didn't think that Anet did much about it. Botting is a permanent ban, suck it up you shouldn't have botted.

He could have been leeching JQ/FA, never the less botting is botting, no matter what he did if he gained any sort of advantage using the bot, free faction/money anything like that deserves a ban.
