Advice on Hero Builds

Hey,

I've now an Elementalist, using fire skills with Searing Flames as elite.

There are so many hero builds I can choose, like RoJway, Sabway, Discordway etc, but I really have no idea which one of these or other hero builds would work best with a fire ele. Could anybody give me some advice on this?

If you want to use a 'gimmick' build like the ones you mentioned, I'd suggest Discord. As a Searing Flames Ele, you are already providing a condition (Burning) and should be providing a hex ([mark of rodgort]). Let the Necro heroes do the rest.

If you are more into defense, bring a paragon hero with [they're on fire].

I don't really understand how Sabway, or Discordway are gimmick builds. but id suggest Discordway.

all are realtively effective with any profession. they all have their different benifits which u can find posted around the forums in multiple discussion threads. RoJ would be cool because the burning would go well with ur SF. SaBway is the most solid build defensively and might be better as a beginner. Discordway will destroy anything no matter what bar u run, lol.

No, basically the only reason why [ray of judgment] is viable in HM is that the AI doesn't know how to respond to it. They don't scatter--that's exactly the point. If they did, it would be the equivalent of a really weak [searing flames].

You're somewhat right, paul. But it's also armor ignoring.

@OP if you're going to play discordway, try an AP caller. Eles have some of the best AP caller options.

The earth spells have long cast times as a rule, air is weaker than deadly arts, water has almost nothing and fire does 2 dmg in hard mode. As a result, I usually just run 12 deadly 12 e storage

Omg, why didn't I think of that. *runs off and uses build* Damn, meteor shower hitting for 20s is teh shit! I especially love the defensive utility the fire/AP bar brings!
