Discord necro interrupt skills

The second interrupt doesnt kick in as often as you think it would...besides, the idea of this character is that when you use Ctrl+Space or Ctrl + 1 on that Charr Mender in HM, all your heros lock on to it. When its at near full health, my Master casts Enfeebling Blood, my Olias casts Death Nova () and my Livia uses Cry, P return & P drain in quick succession...boom, instant dommage & 0 heals.

Works well while my sin is hitting for 200-250 damage with [Wounding Strike] spam.

You get the idea.

And to whoever said the hero discords all the time and doesnt interrupt...that's the idea...unload interrupts, then nuke with discord when I press my binds for the 3 discords. You only really need to interrupt the first barrage of heals or whatever it is the enemy spams. If he gets time to use a second volley of spells, congratulations. You just failed at discordway.

If you dnuke him with ap caller, he will spend his last secconds knocklocked and not being able to do a thing, making interrupts kinda wasted or taking hero attention, cast time (and aftercast!) on secondary targets.

Anyhow, check [power drain] recharge, then [web of disruption] recharge. Another disposable (and fast casting) hex. Relative uselessness of pdrain energy return for discorder with 9 points in SR. You get the idea.

Ah, but as I mentioned earlier, most of the time when I'm running this on my sin (my main atm...working on Leg. Vanquisher etc), I'm running [Wounding Strike] + [Asuran Scan].

Why not then take a Ne/Me interrupter? With Soul Reaping he/she would have no energy problems. Or is the AI on a necro hero different from a mesmer hero when it comes to interrupting skills?

I doubt that Fast Casting will improve interrupting since all / most mesmer interrupts are 0.25 seconds anyway - bringing them to 0.18 seconds does not seem such a big deal You're right that N/Me would have better e-management, but there are downsides. For my personal team build, it's important that my third hero has /Mo as secondary for prot-spirit. That may not be the case for you, but....
Also, tease has built in e-management negating some of the upside of soul reaping. I also take some hexes like diversion for particular dungeon bosses or empathy. Fast casting helps alot for that.

How does a Me/Mo contribute to the spike in any way? And why can't you bring prot spirit on a N/Mo? It doesn't contribute to the spike, obviously. But the spike is strong enough, especially with Gwen shutting down casters and healing. In 2-man, it's obviously better to take a util hero such as tease or BHA, since the difference between 5 and 6 discorders is negligible.

Again, I don't bring a N/Mo because of the way my own personal team build is structured. Obviously that's not the case for other people. I was just making the point that taking a N/Me locks in a profession and makes your build less flexible.

Also, you are assuming that discord is the best elite you can take on a N/Me rupter. I disagree: I think tease is superior, since discord will make your hero less efficient at shutting down, in which case, it is better to do Me/X which has runes, FC and flexibility.
