i downloaded this program and all the add ons to take 3d screen shots in game w/o all the background and crap etc but i have no idea how to use it lol. help!

Not sure what you mean by all the background crap, but ctrl+shift+h clears/unclears the interface.

Well, what's supposed to happen with 3DVIA Printscreen is that you start the app, start Guild Wars, then press F10 to capture all the 3d models.
Sadly, using Vista x64, it crashes GW every time for me.

i get an image come up in the 3DVIA printscreen player but it just looks like a random 3D elipse with nothing much on it.

Look at the help file (by default, C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes 3DVIA Printscreen\intel_a\resources\3DVIA Printscreen.chm) and see if you can work it out. It seems to require something called 3D XML Player to actually view the models (makes sense) but as it certainly doesn't work with 64-bit systems, I'm stuffed.
