Lost Souls - Shards of Orr Dungeon - need help

Trying to run this w/ H/H - Have put together a ranger build that's pretty good, half Marks and the other half EotN skills...I'm able to pull or non aggro effectively on the first 2 levels, but there's a bottleneck on the third lvl that is wiping me each time...I've tried about 4 times and get hung up there each time.

I don't have Nightfall or Factions so I'm using Heroes from EotN - predominantly using Gwen (domination), Vekk (Air/Fire) and Ogden (Smiting), then adding the two monks, a warrior and usually Cynn (although she's the first to die every time).

My strategy when I pull is to take out the chained clerics/ skel priests first, then go for the wizards w/ my ranger, the rest of the party feeds on the zombie brutes and archers...

With all that being said - any ideas for builds, which heroes/henchies should go, and most important: how do i get past that bottleneck.

I'd suggest using more smiter heroes. Holy damage doubling vs. undead ftw.

Smiters are leet in this dungeon. 3 RoJs, 1 Smite/Prot hybrid, 1 Smite, 1 Smite/Heal hybrid, 1 heal monk, 1 prot monk, Earth hench, and interupt hench, with you running some form of tank. i get through it easily.

Except he doesn't have nightfall and therefore only has one monk hero.

I therefore have a couple of suggestions/options:Bring [[Judge's insight] to add holy damage to your melee (or to you). There's a lot of conditions/hexes in this dungeon, the more removal you have the better. Consider switching Vekk to earth magic and bringing some wards (or bring Herta, but she's not that good at using them) Maybe turn Gwen into some kind of smiting signet spammer with [[mantra of inscriptions (pve)]] and [[Signet of Judgment (pve)]? make sure Ogden has at least one protection skill, like [[protective spirit] and for the desperate...team up with someone who does have three monk heroes so you can smite everything to hell.
