HM. So I was thinking about what might be faster for an assn. Maybe there's already a post about this, but I overheard someone saying they ran an A/D build.
So, I came up with the following using the para hero runner, and it kills off all 33 (not boss), but I die too LOL!!! Heh, anyways, I was just messing around, didn't even bother using a scythe ([sand shards] looks real promising) - just the std 20% ench staff.
[build=Owpj8xqzKT6MiXulaXXXZX8XBMA]
[build=OQKjgNmMKPm4bMPeHDAAAAgtDA]
Hero runs 33% to cave entrance, casts [quickening zephyr], then flagged to death.
I run into range, [shadow form], then aggro, 23456, then when [shadow form] up again, 781. LOL, good for a laugh, they all die just after me.Very fast run tho (way better than perma sliver), and certainly could be modded with self heal enchants (and [sand shards]) to provide something better. I'm just burnt out now...
Assn Raptor farm (not 3min perma 25sliver)

too much work. I'd rather just use the normal perma sliver and kill everything + boss in 2:15.

New build, ~100% effective (all but boss - my asura rank is 8, not sure how high it needs to be):
[build=Owpi8xrMpz4WedJGGwgANB1ABA]
Last 3 skills are not really that necessary, but for healing and running away from boss at the end.
Same as before, para hero runs you 33% to cave entrance (3,4), casts qz (8), speed buffs you (1,2), then flagged to die.
Enter cave, cast [shadow form], gather all raptors to the boss. When boss group aggro'd, pull them out of alcove to northwest wall of entrance (not absolutely necessary, but somewhat prevents scatter)recast [shadow form], then [radiation field], slight pause, [aura of thorns], [pious fury], [viper's defense]. Now just run eastward until they're all dead, and boss has settled back into far west alcove.
So, can someone come up something to use for last 3 skill slots to kill boss? I think it's possible, but no success yet (tried dagger mastery and asuran scan with no luck) I suspect if your asura rank is too low, something like [eternal aura] or [dust cloak] could be inserted for that slight pause...
EDIT: updated build to A/Ra (trap cripple/bleed for dervish ones). Used 7 H/H to buff my run speed, stall those roaming raptors (park H/H just south of res shrine) so I could drop nature rituals, and used following build:
[build=OQijEymM6Mm4bMPeHDAAAAghNA]
[build=OwJUYX85r/S6MEgulKHBMuMQHbHA]
Just outside cave 7,8,1, target boss - aggro all, pull close enough to nature rituals, then 1,2,3,4,5,6 - wait (auto-attack boss, 6 again) - all dead but boss at 20% - 1 again...
Kills em all, but boss still standing with about 20% life... GRRRRRRRRR!!!

What about dropping qz and putting it back on the hero (as in your original post) and trying some other pve skill for boss. You would be able to have a 12-11-6 attribute split to make EoE more powerful. I'm thinking of Asura Scan (if that can boost the damage of EoE) or You move like a dwarf or Finish Him. Ideally if it is a spike skill, it would be one you can use twice.
If that doesn't work, then what about your runner hero being a ranger with EoE and the running shouts? Attribute distribution something like 12 command - 11 (15) Beast mastery - 6 (9) expertise. It definately would not be as fast, but if you are missing 20% then going from 40 EoE damage a pop to 50 EoE damage may be the difference.

I finally got it to work with a ranger instead of paragon (beast mastery 16 EoE), but it was painful flagging the H/H and hoping they'd hold off the roaming raptors long enough from EoE, while simultaneously being out of range...
Another A/E fire build beats this A/D build, but suffers the same non-boss kill problem. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10378715
So, I spent some time, and came up with a hybrid A/E build using the vanilla paragon runner with QZ. So far it works pretty well, giving me 1:40 resign-to-resign raptor farm times on my assn, and kills all 34 raptors+boss. The hybrid part is it starts by slivering boss, then converts to the degen/AOE aspect. You basically have to wait an extra 5 seconds for QZ, and 20 seconds for the degen, which is a lot better than the painful 2:20+ sliver times my assn used to get (on 28-30 max raptors)
[build=OwZTkY18ZSnJXkHCu0tcXwVIgBA]
[build=OQKjgxmK6Mm4bMPeHDAAAAgtDA]
Same as before, use para to run you to cave entrance, drop a QZ, then buff 33% run speed and send to die. Enter cave, put on [shadow form], round up all to boss, then [shadow form] (thx QZ!), [ebon battle standard of honor], [sliver armor], [air of superiority]. Try to slip in a free [aftershock] if possible. Once boss dies, then (EBSoH?) [radiation field], [meteor], [aftershock], and [viper's defense] (SF/AoS?). They scatter so [sliver armor] is pointless, but put it up if mana...
Would be nice to get another AOE degen on them, to max it at -10 (currently -7 from disease and poison).
EDIT: [black powder mine] works well substituted for EBSoH - shaves about 5-10 seconds. Just don't do more than 1 AOE attack every 2-3+ seconds (scatter)...

A/E shud be able to do raptors in hm on avg between 1.30 and 2 mins if all goes well - also having high asuran helps alot.
i use a normal a/e perma sliver build with gole , eboh , sliver , rad field and aos .
works fine for me and others i know who uses same build
