Worked fine yesturday. For some reason gw won't go past 0%. Ran the diagnostics and it got stuck at Discovering External Address.
Any Ideas? Btw all my other games and my internet seem to be working fine. My firewall is off and i'v tried turning off my anti-virus software. I have not touched any router settings at all and it used to work just yesturday.

Having the same problem. Worked fine last night. Having unbelieveable crippling lag today, nearly constant. Takes almost 5 minutes just to load into town EVERY single time I enter. Pingplotter shows green all the way - I guess server lag from everyone raptor farming. Tried again later, still unplayable. Gave up.
Lord Of Blame
I've been getting some massive server lag lately. So bad that I got frustrated and quit my bunny farming. If the problem persist then perhaps the .dat file has been corrupted.

I'd imagine that the *.dat file would be checked before Guild Wars runs so I'd count out a corrupt file -- I'm not sure what goes on when Guild Wars is starting but surely they would check the *.dat integrity.
Some things that may help others solve problem, if you can run the network diagnostics and post attach the file/provide a link for us to download we could maybe then go through it and find a problem.
OR
try defragmenting your computer, the Guild Wars *.dat file may be fragmented and slow down processing of certain aspects of the game.

I have to report odd problems with loading too this weekend. I had to download files to an area every time I zoned and taking an unusually long time at doing so.

Try right clicking on GW go to properties, where it says .../guild wars/gw.exe type -repair after it. That can fix the dat file if it's messed up.

I had exactly the same problem over the weekend, in the end I got completely fed up and re-imaged the entire .dat which seems to have fixed it .
