ok so i was just wondering how all the campaigns connect to each other.

i only have phrophecies campagin to eotn, my friend installed my game to his computer so that we both have the same type of game but then he has no acount.. we were thinking if he buys Factions he would get an acount with the Disc. so then My friend would have my game+ factions, meaning he would have the first campaign to Eotn + factions.. and then I will install His factions, will my acount be able to use his faction game?

and another thing do all three campaign Map's connect, like is it all in one if you have all three?

when you buy the disc, it just lets you download the client rather than gives access to the game (through an account).

Therefore if he bought a Faction's disc that would give an access key so he could play Factions but he wouldn't be able to get into Prophecies until he bought the Prophecies key; either through the online store or by buying a disc.

The games are bound to the account and not to the computer...

If you play GW on a computer where all games are installed, you will only have access to the ones your account has access to. So if you have Prophecies and EotN, you can only play Prophecies and EotN, no matter where/on which computer you login.

Everything is stored on the account and not on your computer.

Side note: Every CD-key can only be used once for one account, so you can't add your friend's Faction key to both.. his and your account.

ok so he can still go into the maps that came with phrophecies but he cant do the missions? and what about Eotn because that came with phrophecies.

He can't use any of the content. No missions, no quests, no armor, he simply has no access to it.

If he buys Factions, he can only play Factions, nothing else. No other towns, quests, missions... just Factions.

heres another thing.. so if i buy all three campaigns meaning i wil have 3 acounts.. for each campaign? why cant it all just stay in one acount

You have to add each CD key to one account and do not create 3 accounts.

That way you can play ALL the content on one account.


If you create 3 accounts for all 3 campaigns, every account can only play that one campaign... and that does not make any sense...
