Possible earth shaker paragon?
MercenaryKnight
I know this is going to be frowned upon and I know warriors do it better with stone fist insignia. I was just looking that in most pve groups, if a save yourselves spammer isn't needed paragons don't really get any roles besides maybe a bip or something.
From the looks of having decent armor and I know we lose 1 second knockdown time, but I was hoping maybe there could be some synergistic skills to boost adrenaline gain that could do the job decently.
I am trying to look at the basic build and figure out what I could replace flail and enraging charge for that would keep up the effectiveness so it isn't entirely laughed at.
It kind of seems like my only luck would be pve skills like the dwarven ias and then I don't know what I would replace enraging with to get the same adrenaline boost.

Well I can run imbagon but it'd be nice to get into a pve group for something if they either already have an imbagon or it's something like normal fow for monument and don't need an imbagon.
That's why it looks like an earthshaker would be the next most useful character that I could possibly play.

This is just off the top of my head, and could certainly be improved:
[build prof=P/W hammer=12 lead=10+1+1 command=8+1][Earth Shaker][Whirlwind Attack][Crude Swing][Crushing Blow][For Great Justice!][empty][empty][empty][/build]
First and second blanks: some sort of random utility - [[Enduring Harmony], [[Fall Back!], [[There's Nothing to Fear!], [[Save Yourselves!], [[Signet of Return], hell maybe even something like [[Awe].
Third blank: IAS, either [[Drunken Master] or if another Paragon, [[Aggressive Refrain]. Aggressive might be iffy since you'll be all up ons.
Edit: apparently typing "comm" into your build field means Communing, even with P/W specified. Learn something every day.

Just curious here... why not include "FGJ!"? If you're hitting mulitple foes and have an IAS going, that should net you a decent amount of adrenaline.
Iif it's that quick, initial burst you are looking for then I'd still use enraging (with FGJ!) or have a team mate bring [Inspirational Speech]. I know IS is a bad skill to bring but I don't think there's many other ways to give someone a quick burst of adrenaline.

Eh, I don't know. [[To the Limit] looks like it can replace [[Enraging Charge] for the adrenaline gain, and if you have [[Drunken Master], then you have the same IAS, IMS, and equal adrenaline gain for the same 2 skill slots as [[Flail] and [[Enraging Charge].

Earthshaker is cool and all, but if all you want is an imba alternative, I'd look at [Stunning Strike].
Anyway Zelg hit most of my ideas. Earthshaker may not even be the best or only way to take hammers either- I remember there used to be "para thumper" builds or something. Point being that with shout emanagement, you can afford a bit more energy skills than a warrior could.

The problem in the PuG case is no-one is going to take a half-decent para hammer build either, because it will be far more foreign than those spear builds.. So you're basically stuck running warrior earthshaker with the mentioned substitutions... except I'm not sure they'll take that either.
I'll also add [Make your Time]... overpriced yes, but it's in the same attribute line as [go for the eyes!], [fall back!], and [never surrender!].

If you want you could run a hero build based upon weapon spells for healing and use [[natural temper]
perhaps:
[Earth Shaker][crushing blow][Crude Swing][Whirlwind Attack]["go for the eyes!"]["fall back!"][Natural Temper][Aggressive Refrain]
Just theorycrafting...

Natural Temper isn't gonna play nice with your mandatory Orders Hero.

+1.
FGJ is probably a better bet.
