Second campaign key on the same account...

I tried to search for this but could not find anything. If this has been already answered somewhere on the site, please let me know.

I am aware one can buy new character slots at in-game store or from NCSoft (9.99 USD if I remember well). This requires one's credit card, of course. Is there any other way of getting new character slots and attaching it to an existing account that does not require using credit card?

I have all 3 campaigns and EOTN on my account. I can buy a new campaign key for cash quite cheaply. Note I do not want to create new account, I just want to add characters to existing account and not to use a credit card. If I get another campaign key (say Nightfall one) and then use 'add access key' to my existing account that already has Nightfall - will it add 4 character slots? Or the new access key will work only for a new account as Nightfall already exists on the account?

thanks for resolving this mystery ...

Adding the same campaign to an account doesn't add more slots.

Adding a new campaign that your account doesnt have yet only adds 2 char-slots.
Adding a campaign that you already have changes nothing, you just waste money and a CD-key.

Btw, even if you don't have a proper credit card, you can still get more slots/buy what you want with certain things. I know that with the Bonus Mission Pack we had to get money on a gift card sort of thing, which had a number like a credit card does. Not sure on any details though.

This is true, Visa gift cards can be used :P

I believe it's like $27 US for a $25 card.

I think that you can find Guild Wars game cards at various gaming stores too. I swear I seen some at Gamestop.

I remember because I laughed at how silly it was.

I have no idea what or where you can get those gift cards but I do know another way to convert your cash to a credit card.

Check your local mailing station for a rechargeable visa card, you basically go to the station and trade cash (I think that you can "charge" it up to 1000$) for the visa card.

Edit:
I forgot to mention that you have to have a bank account, for obvious reasons. It doesn't matter if that account may or may not have access to a regular credit card.

Most pre-paid credit cards do not require you to have a bank account. Only that you have cash, and put that cash on the card and agree to the fees.

Something like www.netspend.com is good. (Check with your local check cashing location for your local version).

For most of these pre payed cards just go to your local Post Office ,Newsagency,Corner store and even some of the bigger department stores IE K Mart Target depending
on your location in the world some Banks as well..
Also you do NOT need to link your real bank account to them but may have to show them some identification ( If under age).
Just rock up a the purchase place hand over the amount you want $20 $50 $100 etc and some issuers may also charge a small fee on top of that like $2.50 or something.
When getting the card take into consideration any international exchange rates you may have so there is enough in the card to make the transaction.
This may not apply to you but thought I'd mention it.
Good luck
