Obsolete Items....
Daian Namgnik
I still have 226 Jade Wind Orbs from like three years ago. Worthless, I suspect. But I hang on to them in the hopes that Anet or someone decides to all of a sudden make them worth a gazillion plat.
I imagine there are a whole host of obsolete items out there from various events or campaigning of days of old.
Is there a clearing house for these types of items? Any after markets? Perhaps a garage sale in Lion's Arch? Any chance of ever bringing them back? Or are we pack rats simply wasting our time keeping worthless trickets?
Thanks......

Hoarders- there won't be any use

Just people who keep them to remember the old times, or junk hoarders/pack rats of course.

Remember, some old things can suddenly become very useful, or very valuable.
It's a gamble, whether the slots for them are worth the potential of getting rich.

I have no use for 14^50 inscriptions and +29 weapon mods, yet they still drop for me, I still pick them up, and I still merch them event though they are near max. Heck, I have 53 lunar tokens left over, and I don't even know if another Canthan New Year will come around. If they're really taking up too much space, delete them.

You guys are missing the point. He was talking about items that were made either no longer collectable or have ABSOLUTELY NO USE in the game anymore just like the Jade orbs.
I remember some of the items we could get from materials but never had any purpose other then just being there. Also mixed dyes were another thing you can't make and I used to have at least 2 bottles handy at the time we had the preview function installed.

@hobs: You have a trash bin for a reason. If an item is useless, delete it. Those useless mats (clay brick, etc) you're talking about? ANet removed them.

Just keep them as souvenirs. Not like you will save them for anything else, anyways.

Why not have a mass conversion system to make those victory tokens or something of use?
