hi i am new to guild wars and i wanted to buy guild wars to give it a try. For some reason, buying it from the ingame menu didnt work and i went to check on other websites and found some willing to sell me a new cd key without the box for a cheaper price. I prefer that as its cheaper and i can play instantly without paying shipping fees but a few questions:
1) is this procedure safe? from most mmos, when u buy one cd key and use it on an account you cant use it on another account and its used up forever. Does this apply to gw?
2) will my account get banned for this?
3) is this an unofficial forum of gw ?
emailing [email protected] didn't work, support page is unable to load too
ty in advance for replying

Ugh I wouldn't trust them. Just get it from Amazon.com... when you buy Triology from Amazon (no merchant) for 46.99-49.99 (fluctuates), you can add EoTN (from amazon) and get that for free with free shipping. Best deal ever. Only till the 22nd.
1. yes that applies to Guild Wars to. Not sure if its' safe or not, forget it with the deal above.
2. not sure.
3. yes. there is no official forum.

As Long as it's a completely legit key, no you won't get banned for it.
It's exactly the same as buying it with a CD, you just don't get the Box, Manuscripts etc
I wouldn't recommend it.
You can pick up all the expansions and stuff about £10 each in shops now, anyway.

If you're from the UK I got GW the complete edition as a second account for only £25 from GAME.
