With the recent updates from Microsoft, if you have in EAMONN's ingame display turned on. This bug affects only people using a 64Bit OS running all 32Bit games, not just Guild Wars. The fix will be in the next update, which is being delayed because of the crash. A workaround is to turn off the ingame display.
Edit > Preferences: Username - In-Game Display - General: place a check mark in the Disable In-Game Display.
