Negative Zero (nO), aka Positive Zero (pO), aka Woo Ya (yA), aka No Name Guild (NN), aka GotW #5, aka best guild in the world.

It was me. I did it. I led the best guild in the world...except not really. In fact we were quite awful. Just look at Golden Salmon trying to play a Mesmer.

Joking aside, Guild Wars was one of the greatest games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. While my guild only played up until a few months after the game actually launched, we still haven't found a new game worth playing 4 years later.

I recently found over 7gb of bmp Guild Wars images going all the way back to E3 2004 up until the launch. The screenshots probably won't mean much to you newer guys but if there are any old players still out there then I'm sure your guild makes an appearance. Thinking back to all of those great fights against guilds like WAR, KOR, ZPZG, BE, Te, LotD, EJ, sB, iQ, etc. really brings back memories.

I haven't deleted or edited a single one so there will probably be many that are not all that interesting. If you don't feel like clicking the links one at a time, each directory (categorized by their time frame) has a "slideshow" file that you can use to browse the images seamlessly.

I would find it very depressing to go through those pictures..
Brings back memories of when Grind Wars was actually a fun game to play...

E3 was a very early stage of Guild Wars and elite skills didn't yet exist. However there were elite skills since the first beta event, I believe. If there are any later screenshots without elites then it's probably because I didn't have one worth using yet. Back then there were no faction points, pre-made templates, or "starter packs." If you wanted an elite skill you were forced to use a Capture Signet.

The alpha test existed (probably still exists) far into the retail launch. Some of those shots are from the earliest Factions zones that were already being developed when Prophecies released.

My earliest memory is doing the Gates of Kryta-esque mission during the betas. I remember wild boars...

Shame I deleted my first character. I didn't like the look of the monks one month in, and their starting spells were pretty lame.
