i just used discord, henchies were 2 monks and 2 eles (I think).
spirit of fendi does not regen health, so take some 4 leaf clovers to deal with DP.
try and get fendi stuck in the 2 flame jets, his spirit will spawn where he dies so the spirit will be taking damage from the flames, attack him til we turns back into normal fendi. rinse and repeat

Super Igor
use three roj heroes, the fendi guy can be a pain still though so take some cons and stuff that removes dp.

take someone that spams SY, that tends to make everything easier ;-)

The monsters in the dungeon are almost all undead; therefore holy damage is very useful. The more troublesome caster groups bunch together tightly making them a perfect target for AoE skills like [[Ray of Judgment]. The casters should be the priority target for the party. [[Smite Condition] is also useful for taking out the undead, which utilize a diverse array of conditions.

For henches, just take a bunch of defense. Tank it till all the smites kill everything.

i just used discord
DiscordWay would be hard for this dungeon, wouldn't it? Since Skeletons do not leave corpses, and the Necromancer foes have corpse exploitation skills, such as [[Putrid Explosion].

But with their multiple sources of blind, they're going to shut down an SY spammer pretty easily.

Yes, also lots of AoE spells like Aftershock and Eruption clear your minions very quickly.
Use RoJ monks with anti knockdown like Ward of Stability.

Actually, it is quite funny to tank 'n' spank it on HM if you can run an SF/Obsidian tank...if youre a Monk just 600 it ofc.

I'm thinking about farming SoO as a Dervish for a Bone Dragon Staff.
Is it feasible? Smiteway does not utilize Divine Favor, and with the proper equipment, I'm guessing that I could pull it off as a pseudo-Monk with a slightly higher AL.
How many runs, on average, does it take to get a BDS anyway?

The answer is unknown - you could be lucky and get one from the chest after killing the boss on first run , then again you may be on 30th run before you get one - its all luck ( and a damn long dungeon in terms of killing the boss )

It should, with proper builds. At least one of those monks should be running Smiter's Boon with Smite Hex, Smite Condition, and Reversal of Damage. High Divine Favor also allows the use of DF party heals. Smiteway is a bit lacking in red-bars-go-up, and DF is the main source of what healing there is.
