For the last month or so, every time I run a game or video on full screen mode, it randomly decides to minimize. I'm currently running XP Media Center ed. w/ SP3. My video card is an nvidia 8500 gt with the latest drivers.

I'm having the exact same issue this week running XP media centre edition w/sp3 and geforce 7600 gt with up to date drivers, did this get resolved for you op?

Nope, not yet. I'm going to talk to a computer expert friend about it soon...will keep the thread updated in case others have the same problem.

I ended up getting desperate and running system restore to a point before I had the problem. It fixed the issue, so I'm not sure what caused it but I do have a fix now

did you install some sort of program that used hotkeys? I installed messenger+ and the ...alt + space combo was causing messenger to steal focus and minimize my apps.

Have you got Skype installed? because apparently that likes to minimize your fullscreen.
