I'm stuck. I've done every other elite area in the game, but I can't finish DoA. I've done gloom, city, and veil, but foundry has me stumped.
My char is an ele and I team up with a friend - also an ele. We've been able to use heroes (usually triple necro variant) for every other area with ease, but I can't beat foundry.
WE breeze throught the first two rooms, get to the third room, then get overwhelmed by the titans as they spawn into more and more. Aggro management is hard and doesnt seem to work, no matter what area we go to in that room as enemies patrol incessantly.
My friend and I have tried various ele builds - wards, SF, cryer, etc. But they dont seem to make a difference, and consumables haven't done the trick either.
PVX gives a DOA hero team build, but that is for 3 players and involves them being a dervish, paragon, and monk.
Does anyone have any suggestions on builds for 2 eles and heroes?
I've tried finding other human players, but it's usually a ghost town or people aren't looking for foundry. Plus, I've found that my heroes are usually more reliable than most human players in GW

Didnt see the other thread, but my main point still remains. Can this be done with 2 eles and heroes?

Well hate to say this but you can always try to hop onto a 3 man foundry run to get just pushed through it.
I think there are usually a few Cryway groups that form up to do full runs as well
Other then that I would suggest using some kind of tank to hold aggro and be a damage sponge otherwise you will just get overwhelmed trying to heal the whole team.

You should try bring more defense, things like ward agiants foes, melee, elements. One of you could run an ER proter. A couple copies of aegis put on your hero bars should help too. Of course defense will only take you so far because eventually you will die.
The other thing is try to maximize your dmg. Try bring pain of disenchant, defile and desecrate enchant. (FOC is also a good option) on one of the curse necros. A mesmer hero with VOR and a couple interrupts is also good. The ranger spirit EoE is very helpful verus titans. You could try a RoJ hero monk with smite hex/cond. If you have minions judges intervention is good.
For you I would have one of you pull one group and try to tank it at one spot (you'll need prots to do this PS, SB, SoA etc) The other person should use some water magic skills to freeze them in place and then spike them down quickly. The key in foundry is to spike down each group before the next patrol comes around.
Can anyone tell me how to put skill icons in posts? PM me please

Think about your equipment. Consider bringing +10 vs fire and +10 vs earth shields.
Think about using insignias to improve armor rating, or bring an imbagon.
Definitely use wards.
Foundry is perhaps the most challenging area of DoA, but it is very beatable once you get the hang of it. So don't give up.
