Crazy Lag

I keep lagging so bad that i can type up a whole message and hit enter, get up go get something to drink, come back and the message will still be typing on my screen. Also the same thing happens for movement controls and skill usage.

I do not have any programs running in the background and my anti-virus is not updating. Also my in-game ping is showing normal.

I was wondering if anyone else is having similiar problems, indicating it might be anet's servers and not my computer or connection.

It started happening yesterday April 19th.

There's usually a lot of lag the few days before a big update... Since this thursday is allegedly the big storage update... you probably shouldn't be that surprised.

Yeah I had 2 friends log out due to unbearable lag yesterday. It is most likely them updating server info. If you want to be safe run Ad-aware or Spy Bot and check for adware. and do a Disk Cleanup/Disk defragment. Never hurts

I too been having 1000ms ping average. My friends fine though.
