I don't think it's fair that only a few places gets the summoning stones! I think there should be: The ones there already is + 1 for each area.
My suggestions:

Prophecies

Ascalon (pre not included):
Gargoyle (mesmer). Skills:
Shatter Enchantment, Imagined Burden, Distortion, Conjure Phantasm, Ether Feast

Shiverpeaks (North and South):
Minotaur (Warrior). Skills:
Bulls Strike, Healing Signet, Bash, Rush, Irresistible Blow

Kryta (North and South):
Skale (Necromancer). Skills:
Deathly Swarm, Vampiric Touch, Vile Touch, Life Siphon, Death Nova

Maguuma:
Spider (Ranger). Skills:
Apply Poison, Troll Unguent, Hunter's Shot, Lightning Reflexes, Distracting Shot

Crystal Desert:
Forgotten Sage (Elementalist). Skills:
Stoning, Earthquake, Aura of Restoration, Magnetic Aura, Stone Daggers

Ring of Fire:
Nightmare (Monk). Skills:
Bane Signet, Smite Hex, Balthazars Aura, Healing Breeze, Divine Healing

Factions

Shing Jea:
Mantis (Monk). Skills:
Spear of Light, Signet of Rage, Retribution, Remove Hex, Jamei's Gaze

Kaineng City:
Vermin (Assassin). Skills:
Jagged Strike, Wild Strike, Horns of the Ox, Dash, Shadow Refuge

Echovald:
Warden (Ritualist). Skills:
Splinter Weapon, Life, Spirit Light, Spirit Burn, Spirit Rift

Jade Sea:
Kappa (Elementalist). Skills:
Ice Spear, Deep Freeze, Aura of Restoration, Blurred Vision, Vapor Blade

Nightfall

Istan:
Mandragor (Necromancer). Skills:
Order of Pain, Barbed Signet, Signet of Lost Souls, Vampiric Gaze, Mark of Fury

Kourna:
Raging Ntouka (Dervish). Skills:
Victorious Sweep, Eremite's Attack, Chilling Sweep, Mystic Vigor, Heart of Holy Flame

Vabbi:
Harpy (Paragon). Skills:
"Go for the Eyes", "Never Surrender", Leader's Comfort, Blazing Spear, Spear of Lightning

Desolation:
Monolith (Mesmer). Skills:
Clumsiness, Drain Enchantment, Leech Signet, Wastrel's Demise, Arcane Conundrum

I would like those <3 My main point is: Stop the consumable discriminations, give everyone some! Should of course follow the "your level" and "Summoning disease" principles :P

Anyone agree? If so got any suggestions for good summoning stones?

Half these don't even get used anyway. Why do we need more? Even then if they were added, half those if not more wouldn't get used.

Reckon they need to make stones useful, before adding more stones. Even just getting rid of the one per hour time limit. If you want to spend a few plat making these, then you should be able to spam them as soon as they die if you want.

They are useful. You just pop them off to help with a difficult situation instead of indiscriminately.

That said, I don't think you need many of them, and I'd be inclined to lean away from anything sapient and/or associated with the Big Bads of that campaign. Instead, have them summon allies from that campaign (possibly including some that you do fight along the way - for instance, it may be possible to get something from Dragon Lair from a Brotherhood member at Droknar's Forge).

To be honest, though, I'm not going to be buying any until I go through my 90+ golem summoners and Wintersday stones. Inventory space and cost both say it's more economical just to use what I've got.

For the spirit of this idea, I think that instead of making more summonings, there should be rare drops of infinite summoning stones of the ones that are already available to get in eotn outposts. What you all think?

Take them all out of the game, don't add more. 'Free' henchmen is not making the game better, it is making it easier. I for one enjoy a challenge, and adding things to remove those challenges is not fun.

there are a nice addition to the game. Not that I ever used a one of them but I saw them used. I think it is also a fun for some to see them in action. If they are not overpowered then why not?

Even though they are free henchmen a lot of people don't buy them since they are effective but not effective enough to be worth the 1 k and materials.

And if you enjoy a challenge so much I have one for you: Try to avoid using summoning stones.

I think they are a great addition as a thing to A) Spend skill points on. B) Have just for the sake of summoning something. C) Be a small yet efficient aid for people who enjoy challenges but still find Duncan's HM H/H a tough nut to crack.

Summoning Stones are made more for fun than for actually aiding people. I don't use them unless I feel like having a fun companion.

Choosing the creatures may prove a hard work.
Let players choose. Like this:

- Signet of Caging.
Signet. Choose one nearby dead Boss. Signet of Capture is permanently lost and a Summoning Stone for the species of that boss may be added to your inventory. The lower if Not all bosses can be caged, and the caging may fail if the boss is level 29 or less. If the caging fails, you lose the signet, but get no Summoning Stones.

(Needless to say, the skills won't be the same)

its always hard to pull with a melee summoning stones..

I forget to even use them half the time, just taking up space.
