Feather farming?
SirNazron
I was playing with my friend, and I aske him if anyone he know wanted to join us, he told me his only friend on was feather farming.
My question is what is the specific build used, what profession and where. I was thinking of starting to sell consets, and that would help me gain the materials so I wouldnt have to buy the feahers everytime.
Thanks, if you dont have anything to say that has to do with this, please dont even say anything.

What: Tengu
Where: Jaya Bluffs (NM only)
How: Load up some PBAoE's (See http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/PBAoE for a listing), self heals (VwK+Soothing Memories is a good combo) and utility (IMS, Channeling, Phy. Resistance)
20 minutes = roughly 100 feathers.

Why only NM? I have gotten feathers in HM...... haven't I?

I farm Jaya Bluffs on my Ranger in NM, takes 12 mins to farm 100ish foes, over 100 feathers everytime. Although I can clear this area, much slower, with my level 16 Ele aswell, and the Ele lacks a proper build.
This area can be 600 smited in HM
I also Farm Feathers in Naphui Quarter on my Ranger.

sell your consets in Temple of Ages d1. I'd say 7k/ea
however, if you sell the feathers instead of consets, sell in Lion's Arch d1 or SPAMadan (Kamadan)

I farm feathers at the flat area just north of D'alessio seaboard in normal mode , theres about 20 or so 4 or 5 man mobs of Caromi tengu.I use a MM build with Spiteful spirit and Insideous parasite.I usually get 20 or more feathers plus around 10 Caromi scalps which usually salvage into 3 feathers each per run ,plus you usually get lots of rune armors and sometimes a gold item or 2.

If you go without Spellbreaker, you'll be hexed with [Wail of Doom].

'Nuff said? 600/Smite to counter it or just use Obsidian Flesh...

I really doubt you'll get more feathers in HM and if you duo it, you end up splitting the total amt of feathers.
I'm greedy. :3

Why are you asking where/how Feathers are farmed?

1. Asking "What is the best farming build?"
Reason: There is no "best" as "best" differs from person to person as it is an opinion.
2. Asking "What are some good farming spots for (insert profession/build here)?"
Reason: Most likely you haven't looked around well enough (look past page one and two and search). We also don't want numerous posts for each profession/build asking for "good" farming spots as that would just clutter the whole section.
3. Posting generic questions.
Reason: This is where someone makes a thread with little more than 'I need a build for this', without making any attempt to help themselves by searching or posting any information about themselves like profession/s or campaigns.
4. Asking for a popular build/spot when it can be found on the first or second page.
Reason: Self explanatory.
5. Asking "How do I make gold fast?"
Reason: Do I even NEED to express how many times this question has been asked/answered/thread closed?
6. Posting a rage/complaint thread.
Reason: It's not like we can do anything to the game so please dont rage about how you cant find that "uber sword" and you've been farming it for hours on end etc.
7. Asking where a certain boss/item drops.
Reason: Guildwiki and GuildWarswiki have all the answers you need for simple questions like this.
8. Not bothering to search.
Reason: Help yourself before you ask us. You can look on the Wiki (official, non-official, PvX), search the forum, browse the forum, read the stickys, etc.
