If you have a lot characters, like me, it is probably too much grind to bring everyone of them through to rank 2 KoaBD for the Rainbow Phoenix.
Other than Rangers, I dont see how this reward benefits the other classes much, so I am grinding on my rangers. What do you think?

A titles char isnt in it for the rainbow pheonix, its usually there because the person like title grinding. But yeah im close to getting the rainbow pheonix on my ele, i don't want it, so il jus cap it n stick it in the zoo.
As for your thread im not sure what your asking other than do i think your choice of title char is good just for the pet...then...yes.

Eh, I'm not doing it for the rainbow phoenix, I'm doing it because I want to. I'm just going to take getting my titles slowly though, no need to rush.
And my main's a monk, because I enjoy playing her.

I'm doing KoaBD on my Ele, instead of my main Warrior.
She's a collector and all that so, a Rainbow Phoenix is what she wants...

I did that on my ranger as well for the rainbow phoenix, but that is my main char anyway. Helped my bf do the same on his main so we could have matching pets. <3

Once you've finished GWAMM, your character becomes a mule. You've completed everything and there is nothing to gain. So you start longing for the time you HAD something to do and pick the next character to do stuff with.
The only times when "Ate of D K" shows up is when we have new quests, stuff or she is needed in PvP. For the rest of the time I play on my necro... who is very close to becomming a goddess as well when I find time to finish vanquishing Nightfall.

ummmmm, with the HoM going account wide, u might be able to get a rainbow pheonix on any character if u have rank 2 on any character..... can't be sure yet, but i would say it is a strong probability. i would hold off until tomorrow so that u can find out for sure. that way u do not feel forced into using a ranger because of a pet and reget the decision later. i'll post here when the update comes so u know if u can cap the rainbow pheonix on any character when the update comes ;-).
btw ur thread itle is misleading for what you are discussing =D my main KoabD character was my warrior, but he is completely finished now, so he is pretty much retired =(. i miss him. Now i'm just slowly working on a paragon with KoabD at a snails pace whenever i'm bored ;-) the reason i use these two professions is because i love [save yourselves]. both can spam this heavily overpowered skill and i love it. d-slash warrior and an imbagon they are ;-)

My Ranger is my main, sitting at 29 titles maxed until I finish Luxon out. Although I rarely use my pet, I have a Rainbow Phoenix, but think I will be switching out to a White Tiger as I like the way they look better. My Monk has 26 titles maxed, and my Necro is currently at 9 with 3 more close to done. I'm a title adict, so I am always working on a new title for at least one character.

I don't really believe it's so much for the reward of the Rainbow Phoenix or whatever a person could get out of doing the titles. It's just something one does with a character because they like that character, or they like that profession.

My warrior is the one that I use to slowly work my way towards the titles. Though currently I have been doing JQ instead of PvE to raise my Kruzick rank. Need to grind the EoTN rep points at some point.

srry if this has been mentioned but just a thought.... if u put the rainbow phoenix (mines on my ele btw) in the menagerie, will u be able to tame it with heros, or ur other characters?

Ranger was my main before i finished Gwamm on him. Paragon is now, but im not really trying to do titles with her, just finally enjoying gameplay
btw - everytime i enter HoM i actually kill that ugly 'fancy' bird...

My necromancer is my koabd character. Likely won't get GWAMM, unless I feel like shooting myself in the head... er... maxing Kurzick. Currently has 21 titles, and working on Tyrian guardian.
I like my big, poncy phoenix. It's just... there aren't many uses for a Necro Beastmaster *g*
ETA: Duckboy, Linsey said we'd be able to add the Phoenix, but you'd only be able to charm it on characters that can normally access it. A second character with the right rank = yes; a new ranger you've just made = no.

Any title maxing will be on her, though. Since I play her the most and the only titles I can see myself actually maxing out are the gameplay ones (mission completion and cartography, maybe Sunspear and Lightbringer, bigger maybe for Kurzick).

My favorite character to play is my ranger, but for some strange reason I chose to make my warior my title hound. He's r2 and I could easily hit r3 maybe r4; but I get bored of the grind real fast. I find myself standing in towns reading tradespam more often then I do actually playing the game these days.

Ele is my main and has MGHSoRM, three titles from GWAMM. He has the Rainbow Phoenix although I seldom run him as an E/R, there is just no use for it. Can't decide whether to take my N or W to title hunt next, but I'm sure with all the time we'll have before GW2 I could have all 8 of my characters with the GWAMM title

I could get all 8 of my toons to 2nd tier of KOABD with very little effort at this point.

Ele is my GWAMM. Have a ranger with KoaBD with no plans to move her on further, monk with KoaBD and Warrior with PKM.
None of my chars currently have a rainbow phoenix. Ele had one for a while for the lulz of it.
The only time I play a beastmaster is for giggles with friends. So having big giant birdie on a ranger or other character that can fully utilise it is a very very very very very low priority for me.

THe point of the title isn't for the pheonix though, if you want to use your main character why don't you continue....then surely the zaishen menagerie allows us to give it to our other characters.

Might have just missed it, but I think I'm the first one to say Mesmer. Currently on 26, and 30-40% through all the bought titles. Just over 4 million on the Kurzick title.

Necro is my title character, but I got sick of grinding awhile back. I did trade her spider in for a rainbow phoenix, and I've got other pets I like on her heroes (factions end-game phoenix, jingle bear, black moa, etc.), but I honestly can't even remember the last time I actually used a pet build with her.
When I actually run pets, it's either in pre-searing (where pet is actually useful) or with my ranger and her ranger heroes, all with flamingoes from NF - splinter/barrage attack of the lawn ornaments lol.

I have 8 PvE characters per account and so 16 over 2 accounts. It is too much grind for me. So, I am targeting to bring my rangers to rank 2 because they are the best able to use the phoenix. I wish they have a more generic reward for rank 2 though, rather than one that favors rangers over other classes.
