Here's a tip for next time this doesn't happen. Place your daggers in your pouch first then place it in your weapon set. Also if you have some other items that you do not want to merch place it in your pouch. Then the next time you merch check off the pouch in the top of the dialog box. What this does is to allow you from merching stuff from your pouch.
