Hero Armor Question?

So I read the description for Hero Armor on the wiki but dont exactly understand it. I have hero armor for 2 of my heroes but I just got Nightfall and plan on putting runes and stuff on Tahlkora's armor and it says the runes carry over.

So if I was to fill up her armor right now and then get an armor remnant it would just change the appearance and keep the previous runes?

That would be correct. Any Rune you apply would still be there if you upgraded the hero's armor.

I agree. I've used various remnants on various heroes belonging to various characters of mine since NF was released. They have always kept the insignias and runes I put on them before the appearance upgrades. Changing their armor appearances has never affected my ability to change the insignias and runes either.

Also note that you can't destroy hero armor. This means that you can remove Runes and Insignias off of it (using a expert salvage kit) without any fear of losing the armor or other runes/insignias.
