Drok's fight, not run?

I have a warrior, and I want to skip the desert and fight to droks from beacon's. Probably just to say I did it. :-)

I don't have EoTN, but I do have all 3 campaigns. Does anybody have advice on build and party makeup?

I just tried it, and I think bring npcs other than my heroes is a waste - the npcs die too much. I'm think that optimal is two monks and a necro (minion master), with one monk protection and one monk healing with LOD. My build i'm still debating, as the fights are both against a lot of enemies but over a spread out area.

Anyways, any thoughts here?

you can make it, its not too bad. Do it with 2 discords, and a woh monk, yourself, and whatever else you want

Take an SY build (read the War sticky) if you can; Proph monsters deal relatively low damage, so your team should take almost no damage. Just make sure nothing keeps you from DSlashing/SYing and you should be fine.

Do in in HM. Then you can bring a couple of L20 henchies with bad builds along with your heroes.

Doing Lornar's Pass in HM... is insane... For the record.

For the record. iirc when I vanquished it the only real problem was the massive stone summit mob; which you don't need to encounter if you're hading straight for Droks. I had an 8 man group at the time though, so that probably made a difference. I mapped a lot of Lornar's on my Ele with just her and 3 heroes though (NM), so thats the better option imo.

As a warrior, going with [dragon slash], [save yourselves], and [for great justice] will be great for keeping the crappy henchmen alive.

In terms of heroes, you could go with sabway, discordway, or rayway. Just check the heroes/ai section for the builds.
