Go out there and make one then.

The level of handholding that people seem to need in this game these days is disturbing.

My god, might this mean that there will be people in Maguuma Stade this week?

...Dry Top is a tiny explorable. It says the name of the zone and shows where in the zone Nick is, what more do you really need?

Seems like most are concentrated in Ventari's Refuge, like during carapace week last year.

Playing "Devil's Advocate" here, but maybe Sookie was making a point that unlike previous Nick maps, this one was lacking.

It was useful (and major thanks to SirJackassIII), but this community -does- have inexperienced players. I had to look around my map for where Dry Top was; I don't spend much time around there.

Dry Top is famous for being the one place in prophesies that people haven't been to (or even know it's there)

Well... Speaking for myself.... It was one of the first maps that I chose for VQ'ing in Tyria. :P Other than that, not one of the places I visited the most.

There is also people like me who just came back to GW after almost 2 years afkness and don't remember where each explorable area is. It wasn't hard to find via wiki, but it's not like it takes too long to include a town in the picture for reference.

I prefer going out of Aurora Glade to Dry Top -- just seems like less hassle than Ventari's.

Don't have to farm this week, since I still had a ton stashed away from when he wanted carapaces out there. I easily farmed those with spirit-spam on the eastern side of Ettin's Back, so these should be similar.

I had no idea that I would be warmed up just for requesting a map...geez. Wiki has been down most of the day.

My Rit is not a native of this campaign and I have very little of it mapped. I didn't know that i would have to explain my request for a map with an outpost. I just wanted a frame of reference. I had no idea I would be met with such nastiness...dang, people. Lighten up.

no...I just wanted to know where it was with respect to the closest outpost. I will have no problem finding Nicholas...I just wanted to know which outpost to map first.

Thank you all for being so understanding.

The true and original wiki at www.guildwiki.org (though its unofficial) is up just fine as usual.

nah, he changes locations at 15:00 UTC
the time of Tom's post was 15:23 UTC

EDIT
confirmed his location when I went to shoot farm video

really easy to farm. Got 17 in 1 run.
30 minutes of farming = 51

Yep. It's only a matter of time before he tries to make a "plagueborn suit".

I didn't manage 17 in one run (more's the pity). I got 5 on my first run and the remaining 10 on my second. Flagged my heroes by the portal as I went in and then soloed.

Before you get your hopes up from my previous post, I only got 17 in 1 run because 1 Abomination dropped 2 and the boss dropped 3, and this was in addition to a good run.
Averaging 7-8 per run.

got 5 my first run....and no idea if I am going to get the rest...its a long run (as was mentioned) and I did my carto---maybe one of my other characters needs to map that area then I will get the rest (this is one of the few items I never kept many of---actually MOST of the low level ascalon stuff I never kept--minus stuff for the holiday collectors)

I know I'm wrong, but it sounds like you mapped back to outpost after clearing the Abominations with a "long run" back... if so, it`s much quicker to not map out, but run back to the zone & zone out/in.

It took me 4 runs for the 30 I needed.

just rezone at the portal
the 1 minute run back to portal is a lot shorter than 3 and a half minute run to area

Like you it took me 4 runs for the 30 I needed. I had only killed about half the abominations by the time I got 30 on that last run so I cleaned the rest of them up. That added 4 extra. On the second account I fought my way to nick and had 5 more drop on the way.

That made me take a 3rd account in and low and behold, I was at 14 by the time I reached Nick. Passed him by, killed the rest and had to zone just to get that frigging last GS. Wasn't intending on taking the 3rd account in but the drop rate made it worth the time.

For those that have a second account and a second computer even a netbook with the 2nd account on it take to the zone point then park him at the zone point go and clear and then instead of running back just zone with the 2nd account and rezone to start over i averaged 40/hr
