I took my rit and a friend monked for me. We spent three hours this afternoon, running around SF and having a blast. He complained that monks always get the bad drops and proceeded to get every green that dropped. Fun farm day.

This was a fun farm. I don't think I ever had a reason to go in Sorrow's Furnace alone before. Took about 2 hours for me to get 10, but worth the trip down memory lane

The enslavement stones don't drop much. However, I went solo with my rit and in about 45 minutes or so I got 7 stones, Runar's Brimstone Staff, Drago's Vampiric Flatbow, and the monk boss' green off-hand outside of Sorrows.
I laid down the spirits, ran and pulled the spirits back to pull groups. The hexes are the biggest problem.

Did two half runs in Sorrow's Furnace. Had 20 stones in about an hour. I very carefully soloed with my SoS ele to get into the dungeon. After that I just zoned in and out once. Also got three greens.
A very easy way to get into SF quickly would be to borrow a second accounts heroes. Have that account map out after you get into Grenth's. When you Zone into the dungeon the heroes will be gone. Or just flag your own heroes at the start.

For anyone looking for a place to farm:
Walk out of Kaineng Center into Bukdek Byway and go up the far right stairs (towards the Chasm for EotN). Turn left and continue forward. There's a few spawns just 20 seconds from the Kaineng portal.

How on earth do you get to SunJiang district?
Being a newbie and having started in NF i more or less haven't touched Factions yet. I tried exploring my way there (through Wajjun Basaar and the undercity) but all zone-outs seem to be locked. Do i have to do the main quest to be able to get there?
Time to study the wiki maps.

). Droprate sucks for them though, or me just didn't have any luck.Anyway, suggestion here because I've seen some people fail to solo it (I'm talking now for SoS)
Before you get to them, drop spirits so you can recharge them if you need.
Get on stairs and equip a longbow. Like 1-3 usually spawn then, just longbow pull them, then clean them. Then come down, and just follow procedure because then there is usually 3 groups, but you can take each group without aggroing other group.
Hope that helped.
While doing that, I got like 4-5 gold items (mostly Plagueborn Armor), so after I ID everything and sold, ended up gettting 3k just from farming items Nicholas wants.

I had a full hero team with me on three accounts and even though I have more than a full stack in storage I got about 4 on the way to nic each time....so the drop rate is still high (as compared to other weeks where he has been close to the area to farm the items and have gotten zero of the items). AND my mule got to cap a useless ele elite!

So variable. Didn't get any on the way to Nick. Tried SoS Bukdek first, two runs and nada. So over to Seafarer's Rest and Rhea's Crater; run the stairs. Not the popular place. Was completely alone there most of the time. Took probably 50 runs with full party to get the 15 cysts.
But in the process I got 3 greens from the Focus boss! Fair Dom items. A good week. Nothing from gifts of note, but two weeks ago got 2 Moss Spider Eggs. Nick is just a lot of fun.

I found shenzen tunnels explorable to be a good farming place.
either go from tannahkai temple ( killing a single am fah mob along the way ) and farm the mobs there ( including the elementalist mob, survivors be warned, you might wipe here), or leave from matu keep and farm the mobs from there all up to the mesmer boss.
7-10 cysts a run, run takes 15-25 minutes.
I used a basic sos template with ruby djinn and ebon vanguard assassin added to the mix.

I just VQ'd that area last week with no trouble at all, not even close to me or my heroes dying... yet I had two wipes just going to Nick... same party, and NM to boot.
Ran it again late last night with my best friend so he could get his Nick stuff... he's an AotL necro, so I just swapped out my hero from the team. While we didn't wipe, he and I both commented "that was a lot more challenging than it should have been."
Any thoughts as to why this might be?

Any super farming build for Insect Carapaces?
I did farm some in NM as a Spirit Spammer but it wasn't exactly fast, I would assume there would be a good Warrior or Dervish build for it.
