NCSoft store horribly slow

The offer runs until May 31st, so if you want to be able to do it without the laggy site, wait a week or two. Then the server won't be getting blasted.

Bah, about three hours and every security code is fail. Maybe I'll try again in a week or two. Epic fail making it through the NCsoft store.

I am only afraid if in a week or two we are all still trying to get in :P

Trying to make an account at the moment. It's going painstakingly slowly.

Utter crud, I keep getting "invalid username" when trying to make a playNC account, since I can't remember whether I even have one in the first place. And yes, the site is slow as molasses. I dont see why they can't just make it automatically appear when you speak to the xunlai agent.

I got mine last night during dead hour 2:30AM EST. Still took me a good 45 min. sigh

Also i first tried to use Mozilla firefox, but got errors. So I switched to Chrome and it worked.

When I'm able to get as far as the password recovery page, the image times out. I finally got the "you have exceeded the allowed number of attempts to change your password, please try again later" message. Meh, I have over a month to try it out. Seems like a few people are getting through though, free up some space on the site for the rest of us lol.

I tried for about 2 hours last night between 10pm CDT and midnight. All I kept getting was the invalid code message.

I tried again this morning for about an hour from 8:30am to 9:30am. Again, just getting the invalid code.

Epic Fail regarding NCSoft's server capacity. I'm just baffled that ANet/NCSoft didn't have half a clue that there would be this massive surge of people flooding the site with the questionable way they set up the free storage pane. Definitely not very well planned.

Lets see. You own a shop, and you decide you're going to give away a free gift. Why on earth would you make people come to the shop to get it? You should just deliver it to their homes goddammit.

I had the very same error. I thought my free order passed through, so it's probably why it showed me that message. But nope, went in-game and didn't get my free pane.

PlayNC probibly didn't expect this many people with an actual PURPOSE to come to their site at once lol.

Well, and on top of that, people who actually would like to buy any of the items from the new update are being stumped, too. Whatcouldpossiblygowrong?

If this keeps up Anet should extend the code past May....I've been playing almost the full 4 yrs and I'd like to think I've earned the storage.

i have this same problem. and i tried making an account but everytime i enter something for the user name it wont except. and it slow as a snail for me too. so how can i check if i have an account or even make one if the website is to slow and/or wont work?

what a frustrating night. Tried about 100 times, kept timing out, getting the image not valid message, or not having the code actually show up.

I REALLY wish there was an easier way to get the free pane.....seriously, who thought this way would be a great idea?!?!?!

It still isn't showing up in my storage. I've tried logging off and logging back on. I'm certain this username is linked with my guildwars account. I typed in the promo code correctly as you can see. Still, through all of that, I still get an invalid or already administered to account error. What am I doing wrong?

Oh man...I've been trying to get to that site for 48 hours with no luck. Constant error messages saying the page cannot be displayed and then I can't even sign in. It's a major pain in the butt. I realize there are 5 million people trying to get in but if NCSoft knew this was coming couldn't they have been more prepared for it? What sucks more is that there's a time limit and at this rate some people may not even be able to get it at all due to lousy connection, which is totally unfair.

Did you have to do anything to get it after receiving the error or did it just show up after waiting a while? I got the same error and it hasn't shown up in game yet. Not sure if I should try again/be more patient/accept I screwed it up.

I got to the point wherey ou put the code in and then it kept timeing out. However once I went in game my storage pane was active, so make sure you check.
