Hi, when I tried to get the xunlai upgrade it would not let me, because I had already had an account linked to my account name in guild wars. How can I retrieve this account?

Easiest way is to contact the support, they will ask you for your CD- keys and other things to confirm that its your account ur asking about.

I had a similar problem - knew I had an account (bought a character slot last Christmas), had a vague idea of my accountname/password but couldn't remember the specifics. Finally got it by typing variations on my username into the "create account" box until I found it, then tried variations on my password. Eventually, one worked. Much less hassle than contacting support. Don't forget there's supposed to be a number in the password (one of my first problems).

Well it appears that I dont have my codes anymore, will try and find them. I was rather hoping the fact that my email and adress are the same for both my guild wars account and nc soft account might do the trick, but I guess not. Is there any other way you can convince them you are who you say?

This is handled so badly by NC soft. And why would you need ALL key codes when they can find your account with an email address. Its not like you can use your keys on different accounts..... And why the heck would you need different accounts. playNC account and/or Master account should only need 1.
EDIT: Wahoo finaly the site accepted my inquiry for a new password, reset..and got pane easily.

the NC soft account recovery is poor, they could send your user name to your email address or at least something, or a question so you can get it back, but all you have to do is delete the email with your details in, which i suspect i did around two years ago and you've lost it.

pretty much having the same issue as the op, except I didn't even realize I ever made an account at the NCSoft site, yet apparently my account is already linked to an account there. So I keep going back and forth on if it's even worth all the hassle to get a storage pane.

I know the account name, but I don't know the password. I can't get a new password because it asks me to answer a security question to which I have no idea what the answer is.
I send a ticket to NCSoft support, I'm sure they will get back to me sometime after June 1st.
