How does one make an A/D?

I want to make an assassin with a dervish as a secondary profession, but the guards wont let me go to the harbor citing not enough training or something like that..i've finished every quest i could find except for the 2ndary profession ones. More of a "Q&A" thing but anyways...

You can't continue on in the game without taking a secondary. You'll have to pick one of the core+factions seconndaries for now, so no derv. But later on once you get to senji's corner, you can change secondary freely. Master Togo in Linnok courtyard should give you the right quests and let you set your secondary, then you'll get the quest that takes you into the first mission.

i think senji's is faster, its only 2 quests 2 missions, not continent jump theeen what 4 quests 2 missions?

Well then yes, you'll have to get through Nahpui Quarter mission and ascend in Cantha first. Don't worry you don't generally -need- a secondary profession for an assassin, so you won't miss on much.

balth faction from AB and RA, it's much faster. what does that mean? i just got the game...so im sorta trying to do campaigns while trying out some PvP

You do not need to win to get points, but obviously winning will get you more.
For Balthazar faction to unlock skills I'd say go to Ra, Ab is more for Alliance faction than for Balth.

i've managed to get a 10 win streak on my Dervish, and unlock about half the skills i need for my A/D build

i must say RA is incredibly fun but i always get killed by N/Me or Me/N...they put so damn many DoTs on my derv i cant handle it
