Adding Zquests to GH
micosay
I think it would be a great idea to be able to add Zehnchu and the Zaishen Challenge signposts to our Guild Halls. Just make it a purchasable option like all of the other NPC's.
Thoughts?

ooo, it would be nice if you could purchase em =D a nice gold sink too to draw some money out of the economy. ;-) how much should they cost if they were put in halls =D? what about the copper guys? =D. although idk how well that would work seeing as they give quests. that may provide difficulties in doing this, idk.

50k for copper, 75k for silver, 100k for gold.
50k for each sign post.
100k for the quest rewarderdude.
Sound good to me.

nice idea maybe you can pick from previous quests/missions for the previous day or so. But you can only collect the reward 1 time per character If they can add this might as well throw in upgrades you can do to that time of year like wintersday and halloween

I think thats a good idea because it would lower the amount of people that hang around in the great temple of balthazar. But I also think that there should be both 1v1 and GvG tourny listed at the tourny guy in the gh, not just the gvg ones. (Just thought i'd bring that up while we are making changes)

I kinda like that they have made the Great Temple of Bathazar a central hub. Having these NPCs in the GH would kinda turn it back into a ghost town.

I've already thought about this idea a couple days ago and don't know why Anet shouldn't do this (apart from technical reasons). Nice gold sink, convenience, GH > GToB..

As convenient as it would be to have the NPCs in the guild hall, I like that people the GtoB is full and people are finding groups there.
Eragon Zarroc
lol, GToB is mostly filled with just people entering and leaving. anyone else remaining is just the same people that were trading before. As for finding groups, people can do that in the town closest to the quest objective ;-) i'd rather be lazy and just travel to my gh while enjoying the peacful silence that exists there. (well, most of the time )

Also they could still leave them in gtob so people that for some odd reason actually go there to socialize with the idiots that hang out there they can
Seraphim Angel
Yea they can leave them there for guilds who have not bought them. GToB all I go there for is the same as people have said and of course buy/sell zkeys.
Hanging Man
GToB is for buying and selling zkeys and for new pvp chars to arrive

You can travel to your GH from anywhere, and return back to exactly where you were without having to split parties to get to the right continent and then move again to get to the right town and then find everyone (maybe changing districts if you forgot to set one specifically) to reform the party.
Convenience of GH travel to pick up the quests/rewards would be good

I'd definitely use them if they were added to Guild Halls. I could go back to the game after getting the quests with the 'return to last outpost' instead having to travel to a port.

I was going to agree with this, but I would much rather have them in GtoB because that really needs to be the main trading town imo.
Sorry.

Also, there should NEVER be a "main trading town." You got one in Kamadan, I mean Spamadan, and can you ever really sell things there? Not really. It's just people spamming pointless stuff, you can buy, but not really sell (until you get lucky with the rare person wanting to buy something you have who actually bothers to go through the list of 50 million WTS, WTB, and WTT)...

ALOT of people just look for groups in the town closest to bounties or at the missions. So again no need to keep them there.
Would be much more convienent for them to be added to GH.
Especially for people like me that will either H/H it or run with guildies.
Pugs ftl rather stay in GH to get the quests.

It should be 100k for all three signposts, Zehnchu shouldn't really be available, he doesn't do much as far as I can tell, and the reward people should be 50k for Bronze, 75k for Silver, and 100k for Gold.

i guess, most people form their groups in the respective outpost anyway.

I like to be able to leave my characters in outposts (pretty backgrounds !!) and its a tad annoying having them all load into temple of balth for the quests. I'd also like another GH gold sink and the convenience would be nice!

I think that is the reason they added those z-quest NPCs there, instead of somewhere else. They could have just as easily called them xunlai-quests and put the NPCs in LA, KC, and Kam. A.net didn't. They choose that spot for the quests for this specific purpose in mind.
If people want to be able to use the "port to gh button" and "leave outpost button," what this suggestion should be for is for a new "port to GToB" button that is right below the "port to gh button" that does the same thing (would also be a good way to help new players find PvP), rather then moving the NPCs.

They are a way to get people enter there.
That outpost should be the one where people should direct to trade, since everyone can enter there, so it's better to keep something making people go there if they are not adding anything to ease trading, until that outpost becomes the one to trade.

Since PvE players can go to GToB, it's understandable why that town was chosen by ANet - it gives access to all characters. But for PvE chars, it's somewhat of a nuisance to have to go to GToB every day and then need to retrace back to where they were through towns that don't take full-sized parties (LA, Kam).

Hm... then a 'travel to last visited non-PvP outpost could be added under the "Leave/Go to Guild Hall button" to remove such nuisance.

Anything that removes the need to visit any kind of public place in the game gets my vote. I'm tired of seeing the game turn more and more into a freakshow.
