Zquest 5/1 Factions?
Dee Cazo
So they made every single challenge for factions only for today? That doesn't make sense to me not like its a huge deal but I don't understand why all the challenges are in one campaign when all of them so far atleast spanned 2 campaigns.
Any thing I dont know?

Does it matter that much, really?

I know its 'unfair' in a sense buy Shayne your right, that's exactly what i was going to say.
Kanna Banrai
Maybe because this weekend is Alliance weekend?

Get all campaigns.
It worked for me.

These updates were a nice way making them more $$. From the storage slots and the make overs, to the Traveler and Zoin rewards. No one has to get/do these things, but if you want to participate, then buy it. The last Factions I bought was under $10.

They've done it so OP would go to Riverside and start a Thread about it.

Doesn't seem to be that uncommon. A better question would be why the rewards for missions/bounties are so low, and why the z-quests are primarily focused to PvP. I suppose its likely that the rewards are so low because NCsoft is struggling to upgrade the servers, and so are not ready for everyone to have a bunch of extra storage just yet. Thus the force a lot of grind to get the storage we all want, while simultaneously releasing lots of new items to make us want that storage all the more. Its pretty classic MMO marketing to me. And that probably answers your question as well... why do they put all the quests in one campaign sometimes? To insure that you'll buy all the campaigns if you haven't already. In other words, they'll offer no subscription fees, but find ways to bleed you dry anyway.

Time invested is what drives the rewards I believe. The reason the PvE one are so much less is that they can be done in a relatively short amount of time compared to the PvP ones.

If you didn't notice, it goes:
Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall.
The day before yesterday it was Consulate Docks and a warrior boss in Barbarous Shore.
Yesterday Divinity Coast and Kepkhet Marrowsomething.
Today it's Attuned Elementalist and Nahpui Quarter.

Random means random.
Its pretty obvious that this is an automated system, by the fact that the HA quest repeated so soon (to avoid it being "late" any days). You may not like it, but if there are 3 quests one day that all involve a game you own, then you might like it.
Although Abedeus makes a good point. It might be "random" in that the PvE quests actually come in sets. On the other hand, that could just be a random coincidence for those days. We really need to have a few more weeks worth of data before we can make any accurate conclusions about how the quests are picked, or if its just a random number generating pulling stuff out of a list.

If you don't like it, wait until tomorrow.
Next.

I hope tomorrow its mission in proph and bounty in nightfall. So that people can complain that they had to cross continents to go between the two.
CyberMesh0
Maybe because these quests are randomly selected, and by random chance they all happened to fall in Factions? I suppose you'd say the same thing if they all were restricted to Prophecies or Nightfall.

Chance that the Mission will be from arbitrary campaign (A, for lack of a better term): 100%
Chance that the Bounty will be from the same arbitrary campaign: 25%
So 1/4 days the campaign of the Mission and Bounty will be the same, if it is indeed arbitrarily chosen and assuming an equal number of Missions/Bosses across campaigns.
Obviously, it will be a bit different considering that the number of available Mission and Bounty possibilities vary across campaigns, but you get the general idea. We've had 9 days so far with 4 having coinciding campaign for Mission + Bounty for 44%. This is above the roundabout 25% by more than a negligible amount, but not really considerably.
Seeing 3 in a row is a bit different, and would require the 25% 3 times consecutively, so .25^3 = 1.56% of the time we'll have a 3rd day in a row of being same campaign. Not super high, but believable.
Dunno if all of this is entirely correct because it's making a lot of assumptions about the equality of available Z-Quests across campaigns, but it does go to show that 3 days in a row, while not going to happen all the time, isn't really that big of a deal.

Both of the PvE quests (FA doesn't count man...) were out of Naphui Quarter today. Both in Factions and the city and the same town? ITS A CONSPIRACY!
