If I unlocked a set of armor with Tournament Reward Points and used them on a PVE character, would i be able to buy that armor with my PVE character?

you can't use reward points on pve characters...

It changes the look of PvP items only.

You don't unlock it you just get the item on your PvP character

So does that mean, for example, if i wanted the "Dervish Ancient Armor" it would only give it to my PVP dervish character and not my PVE dervish character?

I am still a little unclear on what PvE characters can unlock.

A PvE character can unlock PvP-only skins? How is that possible? I thought the skin was applied to a PvP weapon at the same time it was unlocked, thus requiring a PvP character to unlock it.

"pvp-only" skills are basically the exact same skill as the pve version (name-wise) except their funcionality has been tweaked to balance them in a PvP environment. When you unlock a certain skill the game makes no difference between PvP and PvE editions of a skill.

If you unlock aegis, you'll be able to use it in PvP aswell, only the functionality will change.

Tournament reward points work differently. You can use them to buy a new skin for a PvP item. It is NOT an unlock. A purchased skin will be applied to the chosen item, and to that item only. If you want a second item with the same skin, you'll have to buy it again.

Yea, so how can a PvE character buy a skin for a PvP item?

I've never used reward points so I'm not sure how that works but, as far as I know, PvE chars get skins by either buying (trading) or farming them. Not sure if reward points work on PvE stuff.

They can't, because PvE characters cannot acquire PvP items (the "j" window doesn't work). If you want a specific skin for a PvE character, you'll have to simply buy the specific item from another player, or get it yourself in PvE.

Thank you. This is what I thought all along.
