just a small noobish question regarding the campaigns
Lycanthropy
well let's say Iv'e got all 3 campaigns + the expansion, I'm starting a character in prophecies and finishing or working on the campaign there, when it comes to cantha and elona, what about theyr'e campains? are they only available to characters that I'll start on either factions or nightfall? or I can finish the campaign in prophecies and then somehow finish the campaign in factions after that and then in nightfall after that? Thanks in advance.

Yep you can take your characters from one campaign to another, lemme find the link....

oh no no no, 20 is the cap - but everything before 20 is pretty much the tutorial
in all 3 campaigns the majority of it happens after 20 (In factions and nightfall over 90% of it does)
The reason for the 20 cap is to make the game based on skill rather than level grinding, this means that once you hit 20 theres plenty more to do - but you don't get more powerful. Instead you have to rely on your talent and skill at the game to see you through.
Also stop thinking of yourself as a noob, everyone was new once - its not a criminal offense you know ;D
(actually thinking of some PvPers...)

oh got it, but let's say Iv'e migrated my lvl 20 ranger/necro after Iv'e finished the prophecies campaign, into Elona, and I'd want to start the nightfall campaign, will I start from the first mission just like if I'd created a character in nightfall? |
If you want you can go backwards and do the missions you missed, but you will be overpowered for those missions yes.

You will travel to Kamaden in Nightfall and the first mission offered is Consulate Docks. Most Characters from Nightfall that do that quest will be close to level 20. That mission also takes you off the island and to mainland Elona. You can backtrack pretty easy to do the early missions in Nightfall. It's up to you how you proceed.

PvP is a great way to get a feel for all the classes, the only thing the skills you use are so different I've had a hard time trying to play PvE again (it seems to BORING)

And, of course, once you finish a campaign by doing the last mission, then you have hard mode available! You can then go to the starting areas in Nightfall and Factions and play them. A few starting areas in hard mode will be ... challenging, to say the least!
You cannot get back into pre-searing of course. The starting islands for Nightfall and Factions are both quite large and very pretty areas and the areas and missions there will be worth doing in hard mode.
