Running Dzagonur Bastion HM
KainOfTheBone
Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone who is able to run this mission and get Masters on it and if so, how you do it.
Seraphim Angel
Zaishen mission in GToB is offering this as a reward now so there are TONS of people there its easy to find a gruop there just bring a good build you should not have to pay for any type of run at least for the next couple of days.
Teutonic Paladin
It's relatively easy to guard two sides and the helpers can guard one by themselves. *hint*

Take two MM's, I prefer to use the sabway minion bomber setup on my heroes.
Send 1 MM + All the troops to the left side. You, your mm, and your party take the center and right and when the generals come out just slowly take them out one by one. This is actually a pretty simple mission.

Eragon Zarroc
it's not really a mission that can be run by a single person while u sit out. at least not easily and cheaply ;-)
Betrayer of Wind
Used to run for about 15-20k in 10m~ long time ago when i was actually a mission runner.
Timing and fast killing the bosses is the key.
You dont need to protect all 6 def points, you can let one be capped so that gives you time to kill all bosses without being worried about protecting all points.
Easily doable with H/H,and harder with people who doesnt communicate(theres alot of running,if someone doesnt then he'll prob be killed and be left behind).

Catchphrase
Discordway works great especially if you run it with another player who is also running discordway. One of you (including his/her 3 discord necs) be the linebacker clearing any kournans / margonites from the defense points while the other go kill the bosses. Once one of the bosses are down, just back away and take on the other boss, don't waste your time trying to clear the remaining margonites. You should comfortably get both bonuses of z-quest if you follow this steps.

Ok well heres a new question. I have seen people running this mission on NM for good money and I was wondering if anyone knew what builds they were using. The team was
Paragon(player)
3 heros (cant remeber which)
and Mhenlo

and Mhenlo
Ez now
All I can think of for the heroes is Sabway, mhenlo for healing I guess, not sure on the paragon though.
Ariena Najea
Perhaps the player was using Racthoh's Setup. It is very effective as a martial profession, and seems well suited to the mission. It would also suggest why additional healing (Mhenlo) was there.

I send all the whispers to one side. Those and the vabbian guards can usually hold it w/o help. I use the sabway necro team and I always do it with another person using the same triple necro team. We guard the other 2 gates at first until bosses appear.
Usually we do warrior first, then monk boss. Once you have those 2 bosses down, the rest is simple. Just be careful of the ele boss -> spikes hard, but our chars have good interrupts and anticaster so he's easy for us.
No need to split your forces. It may take a little trial and error to learn the routine, but its not that bad.

I have had successful H/H and PuG groups with the following strategy:
1) Send 2 Whispers groups EAST and 1 group West.
2) Flag Master of Whispers behind the groups on East. Set him as a hybrid MM w/ Barbs, Weaken Armor, and Enfeebling Blood.
3) Flag a healer monk behind Master of Whispers.
4) Bring another MM hero, and round the team out with 2 healer monks, 1 mesmer and 1 warrior (for Charge, which wins Dzagonur).
5) When the generals spawn, kill the Monk and immediately fall back to the West bombard.
6) Pull the Warrior boss into bombard range, kill him, and work your way East.
7) Kill the Paragon boss when there's a quiet moment at the East bombard.
8) Finish off the Elementalist boss.
If things are not working out as planned, you can retreat from the Eastern bombard and let it fall. If you do this, the Elementalist boss will rush forward to it and you can kill him there; 5/6 defenses will still give you Masters in HM.

After trying forever and a half on trying to get this done in HM, both solo and with PUGs, I finally tried again, by myself, and this time with the current Discordway on PvX. I sent all Whispers to East, and I kept all H/H with me. When bosses came out, I basically killed them from West to East. I had to go back to West for one lone bowman who got through. But other than that, I had no issues whatsoever, not even with Monk boss. No defense was even close to being destroyed. It makes me wonder what I had been doing wrong all these past few months!

This mission is quite possibly the easiest mission in GW ever lol.
Flag the NPCs to the east, Put a MM behind them. Take whatever heros + henchies and run around and kill stuff until the bosses show up. When they do just run into the mobs and target the bosses and move on, Your minions will take care of the rest of them.

fall back on your monk hero - works wonders - or on yourself - cba to read your profession...
but helps greatly after killing the war boss (my first one to kill personally) run away to drop the aggro then rinse and repeat for the other bosses - also helps when keeping the kournans from capping the bombardment things

This mission is mostly hit and miss. Even if you put 3 groups into the east, sometimes they can't hold east side. Give and take about 3-4 tries using a discordway team with H/H, I was able to do it.
There is a faster way to do it if you have 2 man discordway team. When the bosses spawn, just quickly kill the 4 bosses bypassing everybody else before bastion's defense folds. Takes literally about 5 minutes, but takes a few tries before successful.
