Equipment pack question

Hey, I've tried to put tengu armor into a small pack before iding & after iding the armor. It will not allow me. Am I missing a step? Thanks. P.S. Weapons of all colors can be put in the pack.

It doesn't hold armor dropped from enemies. Only armor that your character wears.

Are you sure it is tengu armor not for example canthan armor? Cause tengu armor is a salvage item and they cannot be put into equipment packs. Anyway if it is characters armor then it might a be bug but better that more people confirm this.

As I understand it, the equipment packs were meant to hold only the armor and weapons of our characters rather than generic inventory space we could use for anything. So they'll hold our armor sets, our customized weapons, and any uncustomized weapons. Tengu armor sounds more like a "Salvage Item" kind of drop. The only thing armor about it is the name, but it's not something your character could wear or wield, so it can't go in the new pack.

I'm curious - will armor from one character go in the pack used by another character on the same account? I understand why they'll hold uncustomized weapons (otherwise there would be unreasonable pressure on people that don't like to customize weapons and offhand items would be tricky.) But I wonder if you can put, say, your PvE Mesmer's armors in a pack used by your PvE Assassin.

No. Anything customised to one character can't be placed in another character's equipment pack.
