Burning + "They're on Fire!"

I've been using [they're on fire] to fuel my [Soldier's Fury] (to run a SF-Imba).
This meant running a Searing Flames ele. Vexy didn't do badly - I managed to vanquish the nooby Island and the starting areas in Kourna (my guy is currently at Sunspear Sanctuary) without much issue. But since I am unlocking more and more heroes - I think it's time to move onto more physical heavy teams.
The question is - what would be good options to cause burning?
I am currently thinking of [blazing finale] (which would be thrown on Devona), [burning refrain] (which would be thrown on everyone), [anthem of flame] and possibly [blazing spear]. (These things would be ran be heroes).
One option would also be a ranger hero with [Burning Arrow] (which also means interrupts and [Apply Poison] for max degen).
[roj]?
For the third hero slot - I am thinking of using a [extend conditions] guy. Either Razzy for Splinter/AR or Fatass for curses (restoration in 4 man areas).

The thing I am wondering is - was anyone toying around with this?
Should I just stick to a SF ele/RoJ if I want burning, drop ToF altogether or run something different? (I'd normally go out and test it, but like I said, my guy just reached Sunspear Sancuary so my options are still a bit limited at the moment, so I just want to start a bit of a brainstorming to weed out the crap.)
Keep in mind - this would be a hero team-build, so we have some 32 slots to fill.

[burning arrow] imo is more of a pvp skill than pve,if u want aoe burning than[searing flames],[ray of judgment],or even [mark of rodgort]coupled with fire weapons. Also while["They're on Fire!"] is a useful buff i find that [there's nothing to fear]+[save yourselves] is more than enough in the majority of situations.

BHA is good for bosses.

I've been trying out EC on GWEN and she goes mental if you bring more then one condition.
So I am back to RoJ.

[incendiary arrows] is nice... still doesn't compare to [searing flames].

Never been a fan of RoJ. Tried to work with Para Burning sources as well for a while, but eventually gave up.

I've been having wonderful success bringing physical damage/support with my Paragon and heroes, and adding in a friend with RoJ heroes. Haven't been running it too long, but I haven't run into any areas that couldn't be managed yet.

Anybody else remember the P/E [Fire Attunement][Searing Flames][Glowing Signet][Glowing Gaze][They're on Fire!] build? Good times, good times.

Anyway, if you're looking for physical, I think I'd use Incendiary Arrows along with your Extend Conditions guy. Burning Refrain seems nice but the time it would take to set that up on 4-5 people seems a little much, and depending on shouts/chants used to maintain in-between battles, they might not even get refreshed.

Will definitely look into it once I unlock it.
(I am always shocked that I don't have it unlocked. I guess I unlocked it on my first account and then once I started my second one, just didn't bother with it considering how crappy it was pre-change.)

That's why this would be viable. It's a shout with a 10 sec duration, 10 sec recharge and it keeps up Soldier's Fury.

They're on fire is good when you readily have sources of fire. Obviously SF based teams, physical heavy with anthem of fire/burning refrain, chant heavy with blazing finale (note: this triggers only on ending chants/shouts not reapplications). However it is largely just outclassed by there's nothing to fear and save yourself.

If you are going paragon heavy, burning refrain and mending refrains are very easy to maintain with they're on fire. If you can reach 15 leadership then hasty refrain can also be maintained.

Burning Refrain I believe is a very nice skill because generally if an enemy has LESS health then you, they aren't much of a problem, thus the condition of Burning Refrain isn't THAT bad to deal with. Still, SF is meh damage compared to physicals these days.

I'd say stick Burning Refrain on a hero, cast it on everyone while keeping it up with ToF and that'll be the end of it. "They're on Fire" is a much more useful shout then "Stand Your Ground" for covering the 'shout' condition on Soldier's Fury, but focusing a team on ToF is just too much work for too little, as you should already be using SY and TiNTF.

I played around with this a long while ago.

Always found that a SF ele hero was always the easiest way to go. Anthem of flame, blazing finale etc both work great, but a searing flames ele is the easiest (most effecient) way. (Granted blazing finale is adjacent, so not as wide as SF, anthem of flame is usually wasted on the same target unless you make your hero's target different foes, and blazing spear is slightly silly if you have anthem of flame to power spear attacks)

Play the way you want, some people find more active builds (using blazing finale etc) more fun, some people like heros to do their work.
