Did a few searches and didn't see any other threads pertaining to this question.
I bought a copy of GW:Factions Platinum Edition which contains both Prophecies Game of the Year Edition and Factions.
After entering the key, the account creation interface states what is included with that key. For this particular key, it stated that the account would have 4 character slots. I was a bit surprised, since 2 campaigns should yield 6 character slots.
The manual included with the game includes the following text. "You can create up to 4 characters after you install your first campaign and start your guild wars account. For each additional campaign ... you gain an additional 2 character slots."
So, the question is: Was I wrong to think I'd have 6 character slots for buying a package that contains 2 campaigns? And has ANet addressed this at some point in that past?

Edit... Well. I guess my initial impression was right after all. After logging in for the 1st time I noticed that there were indeed 6 character slots available, despite the information given by the account creation interface. Go figure. Anyway, this thread can be locked or deleted if anyone cares. I didn't see the option to do it myself.

I'm honestly not sure, but if you've already bought the game I suppose the easiest way to find out is to apply the code.

Either apply the code or contact NCsoft support for an explanation.
I have not heard about this issue before, so that is all I have to offer.
