I am really going to have to agree with the OP. Yeti sounds and fireworks can be very annoying. I really feel that they ruined towns and outposts with the stupid tonics and the annoying noises. I guess it's not too bad but the fireworks can be especially annoying. I guess in time the fascination will fade and things will be normal again.

I can see how they might be annoying, but jeeze. Whats wrong with people having a little fun? If you don't like the sounds, mute them. If you don't like the colors and entertaining sparklies, why are you hanging around in the major towns in the first place? I'd suggest checking your gamma setting, or something, to see if they are abnormally bright for you compared to others. When I'm not being entertained by them, they're pretty easy for me to tune out.

I don't hate the fireworks, but I do agree they have lost their charm now that they're so common.

Theyre starting to annoy me too. I just spend less time in the outposts.

Did it ever occur to you that the fireworks might be there specifically to get you out of the outposts? I mean, as if we didn't have enough people dancing at outposts half naked, just standing there not playing the actual game itself.

So either join the half-nekkid festivities or just leave the outpost

*GOSH*

Or perhaps your eyes burn, if thats the case then I suggest you go to your local Ocularist

I notice them for about 2 seconds when I first enter the outpost then barely notice they going off.

If you don't like them...leave....go to different district...go to a PVP town

Wow, so because you guys dont have a problem with it, the solution is to get over it?

I don't care either, but if it obviously impacts on someones enjoyment of the game then yeah, you shouldn't be subjected to it.

I have an idea, fireworks shoot out of the NPC's heads right? Why not just shoot them out of the players head for 5 minutes and not the NPC's. That way the player is happy and people who don't want to see the blasted things can just avoid the player entirely. It's a win for everyone!

It ever occur to you that maybe I'm genuinely not happy with certain things and would like them to change?

I have to say I agree with Empress, I remember when owning a town and setting of fireworks was cool, or when they would go off at the end of an event. But fireworks are so common now it's just annoying. I'm not saying it's a big deal, but it's plain obnoxious.

I think amount of the people who like it is small.... I would remove them from outposts once and for all. /Signed.

If it really is as common as pretty much every time you pop into an outpost, then definately /signed. Fireworks are supposed to mean something.

I tend to think a lot of people here at Guru are just very bitter and tend to enjoy belittling anyone they see as complaining about anything as kinda evident from all the random personal attacks for no apparent reason and the one liner "lolnoob" posts. Half the negative posts in here probably aren't even real opinions, but just people lashing out against "complainers." Seems to be the trend lately...

Personally, I haven't talked to anyone in-game as of yet that actually enjoys the constant fireworks (of course, that isn't exactly all encompassing). Fireworks are fine when it's like Wintersday or Canthan New Year, but every single day constantly is just messed up and we shouldn't have to just "deal with it."

I go to towns to trade, not hang out. Going somewhere else isn't exactly a viable option.
