Where do I find the guys that drop pulsating growths?

There's a collecters thingy I want, anyone know where the level 24 afflicted hang out?

Just guessing here; if the ones in the city are lvl 20, maybe try the Lux/Kurz areas or in the challenge mission. They'll probably be scarce in Lux/Kurz areas, so you'll have to find a specific spot if you want to kill them repeatedly with any efficiency. Iirc theres a decent sized mob at the start of Rhea's Crater (entering from the lower entrance, near Levethian Pits).

I know I've gotten a good number of these before leaving Kaineng City, so I know you can get them before beginning the Kurzick and Luxon areas. I believe you can find the higher level Afflicted in the missions Vizunah Square and Sunjiang District. And has already been said, the Kurzick and Luxon areas should have level 24 Afflicted.

afflicted drop em i think the afflicted have to be level 24. so id say a good spot to get em would be later in the game in the jade sea is a good spot outside in the silent surf there a lot of afflicted on that island near seafarers rest

Yeah, found a spot, there's a few outside unwaking waters kurz next to a rit boss. I was looking through the wiki and it wasn't very specific as to where the 24s were.

vizunah square mission
the mission is good since they will spawn on top of you, saving you the trouble of running around. furthermore, it's a constant supply of them.

People are going to keep posting the same few spots, and I think the OP has been answered.
