Guild Wars Voice Actors!

Another horrible example of VAing is Infinate Undiscovery for the 360.

This game's voice acting was so bad I actually couldn't play it with the voices on, so.....damn......HORRIBLE.

lol, most of you dislike voice actor for Faction... me too.

and guess what I found:

This Voice actor for Guild Wars Faction is responsible for 2 major Guild Wars 2 characters voice and he's one of the voice actors for Faction hahahaha

and he say and I quote from here:
"Berger: I am happily so busy at the moment that I need an air traffic controller! I am Captain Cutter in "Halo Wars", Kingpin in "Spiderman: Web of Shadows", Fred Dukes aka the Blob in "X-men Origins: Wolverine: The Game," two major characters in "Guild Wars 2," and I narrate "Shadow Force" for the History Channel. New "Garfield"s are in production and began airing in May on Cartoon Network UK, so hopefully other markets in the near future. Boy did you pick the right time to ask me that question!"

now I wander what 2 major characters.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

whichever characters he is..i hope he does a good job..i mean its not a movie but gaming industry should be viewed as serious as high end movies in terms of voice acting..after all while we pay 12-15 for movcie tikets and then 30 to see the movie and then purchase the CD we pay 4 times and 2 times (respectively) more to listen to the actors in the games....id consider that more pressure..SO WORK HARDER YOU GAME VOICE ACTORS

since we're on the topic of VA from other games now... WoW always had really amazing VA work.

I don't know which is worse, the writing or the voice acting. I think a decent voice actor can save bad writing, but a bad voice actor can kill even good writing.

Part of the problem in Factions, too. The dialogue writing just wasn't as good as other GW games, either.

Gregg Berger did a fine job as Jecht in Final Fantasy X so it's not that bad to have him on GW 2 imho. Oh, and found another familiar voice from Babylon 5 Master of Whispers is voiced by Keith Szarabajka who did the role of Stoner (another Telepath) in the episode "Soul Mates". Recognised him from Enterprise as well. I'm getting a bad deja vu right about now that I've mentioned this on another thread as well...
