Promote New Leader in Grps
Impaled Anomaly
Leader giving up leader abilities to another
Okay, so we've all been in a group where the leader is either AFK or is as sharp as a bowling ball. The only way to pass around leader is to leave the group and have someone reinvite you.
Adding a feature that allows group leaders to give someone else the position would make forming groups a bit easier.

full party reordering would be great, drag-and-drop just as skills on skillbar

meh, seems kinda like a feature that would be ok, but not exactly needed. party formation has been this way for 4 years, why fix something that isn't really broken?

I agree 103.46% that it isn't broken, and isn't necessary, and I would rather have the time spent making this feature spent on something more valuable, however, if there's extra time, throw this little feature in. I for one would be very pleased.

Eh, GW, unlike other MMOs that end up getting massive party sizes, is small enough that teams don't need to have "leaders." The game should instead be run by common sense and a sorta democratic majority. If 6 people in your group want to run a mission one way, but the "leader" wants to do something else, you are going to do it the first way, so long as it makes sense/is a good idea.
GW doesn't have leaders and subordinates. They have teams.

This thread isn't about how the teams choose what to do, it's about what the game allows people to.

They need to make it so you can vote kick someone out of party while your outside of a town/outpost, ever since these Z quests started I can't count the number of pugs that have joined, and afked/leeched during a dungeon, boss, or mission. /Report does nothing because you can't report leeching in PvE. So stupid.

~As for giving someone else leadership, the current leader could just leave and get reinvited back. But other ways of arranging parties would be interesting. I do like the idea of drag/drop. *ponders*

Vote kicking has been suggested so many times it's ridiculous. This thread isn't really about that though.

Kicking is not a good idea, but provided you add a way to tell who is giving directions in the radar (using a different color for each one, making the nam blink when they draw, etc) then a way to demote the leader and choose another one would be nice.
Once back at the outpost, the leader can kick whoever he wants.
Reorder would be useful too, specially since monks tend to get into other parties when you kick them to reorder.

This is something I have wanted ever since I started playing.
I know when I monk I prefer to be at the bottom of the list, or at least group everyone based on their needs from me. It would be great to have the option to do it myself instead of having to ask everyone to sit tight for a minute while we kick and invite all over again. It's not a major game flaw, but something that can be a real hassle.

i think this is a pretty good idea. Even in HA becuase a few times ive seen the healers wanted the party members lined up by profession so we had to kick and reinvite to get them lined up right.

Not signed for main idea though, as these are some different things. Don't think the orignial idea is solving alot.
