Hmm..if rampage of faction leechers, botters, zkey afk farmers etc. weren't enough in JQ and FA, guess what? Now we have Coin farmers there as well. How about a GvG match against 4 whammos dancing at the base the whole time? Good Lord! Zero's Ascent ...err Hero's Descent is now wayyyyyyy beyond the point of ridicule (it passed that point long back). I will leave RA alone as it is meant to be as such. I haven't been to TA after the advent of ZQ. Hopefully, it is not as much damaged as the others.
The main reason for this is the sucky Equip bag that packrats want to grab fueled by the ability to complete the same challenge on multiple characters. With the daily rotation of this WoW-ripoff-idea, can we please at least have the combat challenge account based? That way people can still do this with the classes they play better than the others?
Whether number of coins needed for equip pack should be reduced or not is a separate discussion. But, for the love of Almighty Lord, please stop this madness!
Make Zaishen Combat Challenges Account Based (for Pete's sake)

Or you could just play with the profession you like and repeat the repeatable quests.
Edit: Also, I haven't had a problem with leechers. It's been pretty much the same frequency as before for me. The coins increase activity in otherwise dead forms of PvP.
HA used to be only people who had experience with HA, and now this allows newcomers to experience it.
TA was utterly dead aside from a guild group here and there.
The other forms of PvP have been pretty active, but the increased activity is nice.

I asked Lindsey about this a while ago, she said their first plan was to make all z-quests account based; but they ran into too many problems trying to implement it. So they created and balanced the quests/rewards knowing that some people would be repeating/farming them like crazy.
While the leech/rolling crap going on in factions/RA/HB is undesirable, 4 stupid wammos and unranked pugs running around GvG/HA is exactly what pvp needs now - fresh blood. Can't feel too sorry if that inconveniences the whole one district of regular HA/TA international players.

The problem lies in the implementation. The live team clearly wants to increase interest and draw new blood to the PvP aspects of the game. The way they've done this is with the z-quests being both repeatable and having much larger rewards than the PvE quests. The problem is that while this does get more players in to the PvP places, a significantly large portion of them are there not to PvP but to get the z-quest rewards. Take HB for example, I'd say about 60% or more of the matches in the most recent HB z-quest day that I was a part of ended with a quick /resign. Even though /roll has been disabled, a lot of people are there so as to be able to get the rewards and buy their equipment packs/everlasting fireworks/etc or to just get all the free faction. I found many of these people would just resign if it looked like I was going to ACTUALLY fight.
So, the massive imbalance in the PvP vs PvE z-quests doesn't seem to have the desired effect. Yes, its getting people into the PvP matches, but a lot of them are not actually playing PvP. Perhaps its better to ask WHY PvP was so light before the z-quests. Whatever the reasons (neglect/lack of interest/lack of rewards/whatever), the "solution" of the combat z-quests isn't fixing those problems. More, its encouraging players to do something they don't really want to do and encouraging those players to bend the rules in order to maximize z-coin profit.
In my guild, many of the players are very casual players, and have little to no interest in PvP. As one of them put it, "PvP is all about getting competitive, and to me that just feels like work. I play GW for fun, not because I'm unemployed." Such players are frustrated, I think rightly so, that the big rewards for the items they want (and have a "need" for from mostly playing PvE) are much harder for them to get without having to do the PvP quests. Personally I think the devs can find a better way of drawing people into PvP without that frustration.

I'll rather they make the PvE Z quests repeatable.

1. Balth faction reward dependant on bonuses completed
2. Higher rewards for some type of pvp
3. Lower rewards for HB, and a bit for HA
4. Add more random bonuses.

Hmm... every single person who played in HA were new. They took the time and pain and stayed w/ the arena till they achieved their goal. Some did not take the time or the pain or did not have the patience to achieve their goals. Just giving coins to a few people won't really make them PvPers or make PvP entertaining for them.

No. They are not balanced vs PvE qeusts, and not balanced vs each other.

Even though it disrupts my zkey farm.
